- VIA Rail's P42 locomotives fly through Limoges on the Alexandria sub blowing their horn through multiple public crossings at grade. This was back in the day when they still had their original K5LA horns.

Nice video, I didn't realize these had different horns now. We only get the F40PHs out my way. I love the haunting sound of the horns at 2:58
Thanks! I have noticed they have different sounding horns. I love that sound at 2:58. Carrying off the trees.
I wish GE would have built a Tier 4 style of the Genesis, that would have been great to keep it going! Heck I think that would be a wonderful fit for state sponsored Amtrak trains. I just miss when a number of units sounded a lot more magical back then, like this here! ua-cam.com/video/skGKYbn2NcQ/v-deo.html
Even better than that would be a PEVO. GEVO block inside a Genesis body. 🙃
@@100m.p.h. Uhh, I was thinking rather the same style of Genesis but with a different vent design on the outside, but still having 4 axles.
Cool!😍
Thank you! 🙂
