    the mind and practice of 'life' and the care of others that Jon and Dorothea are part of is something I open up each day for a morning smile. my loving hubby left us in 2022 and Bon Jovi music is always 'on' - the Bon Jovi Band's story is awesome, being open to all countries and people , a welcoming of differences. thanks Jon. ( I'm 76 and too wish I'd met 'Frank' his timing was impeccable, clear voice, that intro Summer Wind is so special --- you can glide into it with comforting words and memories, and orchestral arrangements, wow)

    One thing you learn in life is nothing lasts forever
    We all wanted Jon and Richie to stay together but things happen for a reason
    Richie is better off not being in the band if it makes him a happy healthier person
    Sometimes the things we would like to be involved in aren’t always the best thing for us
    Having the relationship now that he has with his daughter makes him a very rich man

      Dissing his own former band mate shows what he is really like JBJ today is a class A douche so self centred and seems so fake even the new songs ain’t anywhere near when Richie was in the band JBJ needs to stay in his lane lots of fans will be angry over what he said about Richie

    Ein tolles Interview, in dem Jon eine Menge Hintergrundinformationen zu den Songs des neuen Albums liefert. Da hat das Zuhören richtig Spaß gemacht.

    Didn't Richie say his reason for leaving the band was to spend more time with his daughter?
    I've been a Bon Jovi fan since the mid 90s and I'd like him back in the band as well, but that's a bit unfair to him.

    • @thequiet1374

      Yes, but it was probably bs. Because both sides said "personal reasons" in the beginning. Then it was Richie's daughter.
      First it was he would be back in a couple days, then it was he'll be back, then it just ended up being Richie not in the band anymore.
      Richie did later say he wanted things to be more "like a band".
      I'm betting something was done or said that Richie didn't care for, and Jon never addressed the issue, thus driving a wedge further, thus it going from "a couple days" to here we are years later with the two not speaking for years at a time.

      I’m sure Richie enjoyed spending more time with his daughter but bands break up over money and egos.

      Richie was probably still struggling with his demons, and I think he finally woke up one day and decided he needed to get off the road and truly work on himself. Obviously he and JBJ had been at odds for quite some time. So why stay when you're not doing well personally, and you're just not having fun anymore?
      Richie seems happy these days. And he got to spend precious time with his daughter as she went from a teenager to an adult. Sounds like a win win to me. The only thing that really worries me is that it still looks like he drinks quite a bit. Hopefully it's not too out of control!

      Gotta say, I'm a huge fan of Richie Sambora. Have you ever seen the SNL hosted by Bon Jovi? Richie Sambora makes an appearance and though it was a few years before he left Bon Jovi, it's ample evidence that Richie did not have his life together. Live TV and Richie couldn't get his ONE line right. John is not being disrespectful here, and he's not being unfair either. Each of us has our own journey to make.

      He was making music not long after he left Bon Jovi. If he did it for his daughter, why quit one band to start another? That was just a cover.

      The fake rockstar who comes across as charming but deep down a class A douch long time fan but the comments about Richie disgusting JBJ forgot where he came from Richie made Bon Jovi just cause Jon got the record deal Jon would be no where without the talent of Sambora and Desmond child the fact he turned into a complete pop bad today is embarrassing say the least the reviews on iTunes tell you who the talent was lmoa but keep thinking JBJ is all that today he ain’t

      I think they made each other. Jon got a record deal alone there was no Richie on Runaway. They are above average apart but great together. Its clear Jon is just guessing in the absence of an explanation just a no show, the fans that bought tickets deserved more.

    • @thequiet1374
      @thequiet1374 3 роки тому +2

      @@davidrolfe4864 John isn't guessing about anything. He knows exactly what happened.
      And frankly it's probably Jon's arrogance that caused the absence of Richie.
      While neither have aired the actual truth to the public, the difference is Richie hasn't constantly taken cheap jabs.

  • @dahlsmama
    @dahlsmama 3 роки тому +5

    After all those years, I would think Richie would at least earn enough of your respect to keep diragatory jabs to yourself.

    • @face76
      @face76 Рік тому

      It wasn’t a jab. It was the reason he couldn’t be in the band. Richie struggled with drugs still. If it was for his daughter he wouldn’t have gotten back into music. But since 2017 that endeavor has failed.

    Can't blame Richie for wanting to leave the band and this egotistical nob behind.
    I think if Richie was still in the band, they'd of still been a half decent band.

    This guy John Bon Jovi is really in love with himself. He can not write a song worth a damn without Richie. This guy needs to fall flat on his face because of his conceit. Without his uncle's help - who owned the Power Station Recording Studio - and Richie Sambora's talent, Johnny boy would be just another nobody from New Jersey.......FACT!

    • @jaminelvers7250

      Jon wrote some of the best Jovi songs himself even when Richie was still in the band.
      He also did Blaze of Glory for his solo album alone, on a napkin, in 30 minutes.
      You can like or dislike the new record, to each their own, but I still see a lot of songwriting prowess in there.
