I personally think BVR is exciting to watch. We watched 10 years of WVR in WT, now we have a different thing, so I think it is a nice change. If it wasn't popular at all in the flight sim community in general, nobody would watch things like Growling Sidewinder's BVR duels against other people. It certainly has its place.
It gets even more interesting when you have someone up high who knows what he's doing and who actually fires back. That this doesn't tend to happen much is the fault of the still existing and too exaggerated multipathing. 60m is still too much. But don't tell the casual crowd I said that, they'll scream at me again.

oh i do hope they reduce or maybe even remove multipathing entirely just for your convenience just so you see nothing will change afterwards in the way people play, and just so i can see you moving the goalposts endlessly to whatever you imagine in your head your perfect air sim experience is at the expense of literally everyone else until we can one day hopefully be out of copes

You really shouldn't be firing these missiles at ranges more then 20mi when your around 30k feet. They're early AMRAAMs so while they have great kinematic for what we have, youre shooting them at targets at more then 40mi and they dont have the energy to reach that.
