The Diane Rehm Book Club selection for October 2023 is “The Unsettled” by Ayana Mathis.
She is joined by Soyica Diggs Colbert, Vice President for Interdisciplinary Initiatives and Professor of African American Studies and Performing Arts at Georgetown University and author of "Radical Vision: A Biography of Lorraine Hansberry"; J.T. Roane, assistant professor of Africana Studies and Geography at Rutgers University and author of “Dark Agoras: Insurgent Black Social Life and the Politics of Place in Philadelphia”; and Marion Winik, professor in the Creative Writing MFA program at the University of Baltimore, author and host of The Weekly Reader podcast.
