You dare use Champions of Russ? You have my respect regardless of the outcome of the battle. Besides the obvious disadvantage, it´s one of the most fun detachments out there in my opinion.

Yeah I totally get what you mean about the Wolves. Unfortunately I suspect that we aren't going to get a Space Wolf codex any time soon especially if GW are going to bring back Leman Russ, that would be an end of edition thing. I hope that if GW see this they think about maybe giving Wolves a new detachment in White Dwarf. I am excited for the Tyranids though they look good but not broken.
The wolves detachment is so bad. (I’m sad about it btw) it’s one of the only ones that you get taxed upon as have you take characters to get the perks. Apart from that when it happens it’s normally late in the game. Lastly my biggest problem is that it’s not the character unit it’s the character so when you are attacking you really need to think… do i strike before or after the unit

As space wolf player i say this with pain in my chest, close combat does not work as it used to, you need heavy support and you can use a couple of close combat units top, more than that does not work anymore, in this 10th edition close combat units does not work anymore, unless the have resurection or feel no pain ,otherwise not usefull. personally the only units that may work are thunderwolf cavalary to tank damage,

As a tyranid player I feel like this result was due to Tyranid player getting all the charges and hence getting to hit first. The dice was also skewed at the first two rounds a little bit too much in favor of the Tyranids. The OOE squad overwatch was unexpectedly effective at round 2. That one carnifex surviving on 1 wound at turn 1 was also too influential. So I think this was actually much closer than it looks. If the shoe was on the other foot, ie Wolves got to charge first, I think it would have been a different story alltogether.

Their detachment for starters is one of the worst in the whole index line. Units are too expensive (well better now) the biggest problem right now is that combat is practically non existent in 10th right now

Well all codex will do is give new model or two and new detachments. If you don't use new models and use same detachment won't be any differen'
@bakuchidancer hopefully give new rules though also.... as Heirloom weapons are just rubbish and Wulfen need more bite
@@Faultl3ssLyc0n datasheets aren't changing. As is odds are heirloom weapon units more likely go to legends due to being non-primaris

this is just weird. first of all, I loooove your battle reports, buuuuuut they are only fun to see while you play soft soft lists in 40k...... I am actually getting hooked on your 30k content, Why? Well 10th edition plays like a sport, 30k HH seens to still give the feeeeeeel of a battle/war. Am I wrong?

It’s just so difficult to do lol 😂 maybe happens late in the game and only with characters means you need to really calculate when you are doing it and what’s strikes first to have the final blow with the character. Ontop of it all it’s a tax as you need characters to make it happen 🤦🏽♂️ 😔
