I love these uniforms they are spectacular and so right for a Rhythm & Blues group. It is lightly stepping to the beat. The beat of the band is fabulous. Thank you for this song Temptations and Otis Williams founder of the group. So amazing this video.
I believe this song was co-written by Ron Tyson, who is currently the 1st tenor lead singer in the Tempts since Glenn Leonard left...Kismet that he worked with them on this album and later went on to be in the group. Ron has been in the group now longer than any other 1st tenor lead.
In a way Glenn sounded exactly like Eddie Kendricks in this record! That sweet falsetto/tenor voice that chills you too the bone when you listen to it.
@@garymayfield5995I agree he doesn’t sound like Eddie even though he can nail Eddie’s songs pretty well note for note. Damon still sounds the closest to him among the 3 guys who came after. Glenn is 2nd. Ron Tyson sounds NOTHING like Eddie he sounds the least like Eddie.
I play this little comparison game to log info on groups: Baker, Harris, Young produced The Temptations AND Eddie Kendricks. Eddie had a pretty big hit "He's a Friend" and "Going Up In Smoke". then the Holland Brothers produced the Temptations (Bareback album) and the EK single "Cream Off the Top". Eddie had the hit again. The public had a clear fondness of EJK...
@@garymayfield5995well to be fair it’s not Louis Price’s fault that all their writers and producers at Atlantic wanted him to try to sound like Dennis way too much. Personally I think Louis is a better sounding singer than Dennis. Dennis is great but Louis is more smooth.
i love this song and album.
I remember this song from when I was a child. Didn't know it was The Temptations until recently.
Love Glenn Léonard
Glenn Leonard ,didn't know he was such a dancer!
He was a pretty decent dancer. He was pretty good in the live performances of Glasshouse and Shakey Ground; which had some pretty amazing steps.

yeah they got two versions of these, the other one with white pants, but this one is better in my opinion
I believe always wins nobody picked up the dresser peril
I can't believe today is the first time I am learning bout this Gem... The Sound Of Philly's distinctive grooves.
R.I.P. Richard Street.
And Melvin Franklin.
Liking this song ... the lyrics are amazing.
I always love their music

I believe you're right

He sounds nothing like Eddie not even close
Damon Harris sounded more like Eddie Kendricks.

It’s nice seeing and hearing songs without Dennis Edwards. The 3 lead singers is where it should be.
You'll done lost your mind, this entire group together can't touch Dennis
@@garymayfield5995 yes they can.
