Card Sharks - 501 - March 31, 1980

Since I can't stay retired from Game Shows forever, I've come out of retirement to pay tribute to the late Jim Perry. I will be uploading several episodes in the upcoming week that are random, yet enjoyable.
On this episode, Jim announces that this is the 500th show (which it isn't), and it contains an exciting Money Cards round.

Jim was right, this is the 500th episode. On his 3000th overall TV appearance, he mentioned that it was the 567th show, aired July 2, 1980, it was once uploaded here but catnap1972 closed his YT account in his own will. I wonder what his other 2433 TV appearances come from prior to that point.

Too bad they didn't have the Run the Board Rules for $500, that would've been a nice hunk of change and too bad Nikki didn't pull a Norma Brown and Shoot the Max
Had they had the Run the Board Rule and had she went all the way, it would've been a Nice Round Total of $30,000
$200 for Winning the Game, $1000 for Running the Board Twice in a Row and $28,800 for Shooting the Max in the Money Cards for a Grand Total of $30,000 in Cash
But other than that, a great way to Celebrate the 500th Episode of Card Sharks on NBC with the late great Jim Perry
