*AUDIO IS A BIT OFF IN THIS VIDEO*
SpareChange On my Denon if you choose the movie sound options button (green button) it shows Atmos/Surround as a option. But display on front of unit shows DolbyTrueHD. First time I have seen that.
SpareChange I forgot to mention I was referring to the 1080P Blu-ray. And my Atmos ceiling speakers are being used.

Mission Impossible 2 is the worst movie of the series in my opinion. The only real quality it has is the final action scene.
WH250398 thats why M:I2 did so much profit (alone 70mio$ for Tom) because it was a bad one!!! I still don't get it the MISSION IMPOSSIBLE 2 hates why why? It was the coolest with the longest motorbike chase scene in the movie history thanks to John Woo and his second best Hollywood movie after FACE OF period, beside this one Rogue Nation was the best

I don't hate it, but it has many flaws. The biggest one for me being Ethan Hunt. He is not Ethan Hunt in the movie. He's James Bond. I do absolutely love the action scenes, but it takes an hour and ten minutes before the movie gets there. And what's in that hour is not that riveting. It's totally ok to love the movie though. You have every right to like it.

They are. Right now, you can only buy the "Daniel Craig's Collection", but personally I'd hold off buying it and wait for No Time to Die to be released. Hopefully, they will be sold separately, or if you want them all, you'll be getting the collection including No Time to Die.

still wondering why they don't release it in imax version like the Marvel blurays...

Just rewatched your review of Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation and based on that having a disappointing Atmos track, perhaps it's not such a big let down after all that the rest of the movies in this box set don't have new Atmos tracks if there's going to be a lack of activity in the overhead speakers. If the original Atmos track for the theatrical release only uses the overhead speakers sparingly, I'm guessing in most cases the sound will not be remixed for the home release as this will involve more time and money. It's just a shame that when a movie studio re-releases a movie multiple times that they don't aim to significantly improve the previous releases(s) which surely will result in more units being sold!
There have been multiple releases of Mission Impossible on BluRay and I'm not just talking about a new box set after each new movie has been released. First, the Ultimate Missions boxset, followed by the Extreme Trilogy. No upgrade from vanilla Dolby Digital 5.1 on the later box set. A lossless DTS -HD Master audio track was included on the Italian/Scandinavian/Dutch but not the U.S. and UK releases. What gives Paramount?!
So disappointed this doesn’t have the IMAX sequences and has the black bars I wouldn’t be annoyed with the switching aspect ratio. If mission impossible fallout does it and many other 4K blu rays with imax footage have them included so why not this one??

Why do they do this?? If they're going to put out a 4k bluray there MUST be either Atmos or DTS X. :P 9/10 for audio???
There's no Atmos mix to compare it too. So yes it's sounds like a great 7.1 mix. 9 of 10.

Two things that occurred to me after watching this review: Have you ever given a title a perfect score of 10? And you seem to dislike film grain, while most purist feel it’s a mortal sin to use DNR to remove it. Where do you stand film grain a positive or negative?
