This Video is AMAZING! you did an excelent job playing this! i hope to learn this song too, i'm still in high school and i would love to play this song at one of our jazz band concerts, or at like a talent show or whatever! point is, you did a perfect job! awesome work!
wow I'm actually quite surprised that someone doesn't know Robbie Williams coz I thought he's pretty famous everywhere, but meh don't sweat it, as I said this is probably one of his better songs, although he did lots of great jazz covers for his jazz album, thanks for the comment. =)
Compliment for you piano sound. The Roland RD 300 GX has a great sound. Please, you can write about setting you use on your piano, about mode 1 or mode 2, curve, velocity and so on, and what piano you used: grand piano or other. Thankyou
Hi, I`m about to buy a RD300GX and thanks you, I can hear it`s beautiful sound. Have you ever had any trouble with this model in particulary? I'been searching some reviews of it in internet, some people talks about a kind of issue related to the midle octaves... I'd appreciate any comments about your experience playing this piano..
you're welcome, actually I kinda lied there, the reverbs setting is not Hall but Stage, I just realized that last night when I was playing around again.
are you the original song pianist? cause it sounds perfect... and your piano is lovely i'm thinking of buying a used one.. could you please tell how you record it so well?
Sorry for late reply. Honestly, I didn't use any fancy settings here. My usual piano timbre will be the Superior Grand with lid opened all the way up. Reverbs set to Hall and depending on the type of the song I'll adjust the equalizer. But that's pretty much about it, nothing really fancy. I kinda edit some of the stuff in the computer too, let's say for clipping or extra adjustments like reverbs, or normalization and stuff.
@TheSwedishRWFan Hello, sorry if I didn't reply. Sometimes my crazy schedule doesn't permit me to much youtube stuff. You have all my blessings to do whatever you want as long you credit properly. I look forward to seeing the final product. Thanks again!
hmm I honestly can't tell you much as I don't have much experience with both keyboards, I know that Korg has pretty decent line of synth, but I'm absolutely clueless about Kurzweil, your best bet will be visiting your local music store I'm afraid.
Makes me thinking of the Summer of 2001.
Great job, well done!
Beautifully played - very delicate! You really got the best out of that Roland as well! Thanks for posting!
