This was fun. Thanks for sharing. [warning math ahead] To get more control over the river's direction instead of domain displacing, I used abs(f(x) - (y + noise)) This allows getting a general shape by writing an f(x) and then distorting the edges. I should try mixing that with domain displacement.
Plz make videos on how node sockets pick up data from one node to another? How color, vectors and gray socket works?? Plz make videos on these concepts.. Lots of love ❤️❤️
You'll notice when you do the "domain distortion" with noise it moves the midpoint an average of 0.5, this is because noise is a grey average. This needs to be subtracted but the mix type can be changed to linear light to do this for you.
Great video! Thanks, Charan!
Glad you liked it Erin!
greatly explained. straightforward and easy to understand ❤️
Thank you 💚

Yup linear light is my fav node !
Learnt a lot about blend modes after making this video! Thank you
Very good explanation!!!
Glad it was helpful!
The series has been great, will there be more?
Yeah there will be more, I am planning to do more live streams on math 🤗
Noice !
