i spent a lot of years working in restaurants. I can confirm that people do that 'i changed my mind" thing all the time. Most people don't, but you always get that one impossible to please customer. It's not just the servers' time that they are wasting either. Other customers have to wait for these PITA customers during every stupid complaint.

I can only assume Martin has never been a server before. Just because a customer isn’t intentionally messing with their server doesn’t mean they aren’t inconsiderate or unobservant. In situations where a server is clearly busy and you’re behaving in this way, you’re showing a lack of understanding and a sense of entitlement. There’s a basic etiquette that goes both ways in the industry, and every server on the planet can tell which customers have worked tables/bars at some point in their lives, and which haven’t. Light blue, bald guy fails at that basic etiquette. That said, love you, Martin.

I work in retail and there are plenty of self entitled "the customer is always right" minded individuals who think they can spit on you and you have to take it (figuratively). I'd gladly deal with this blue guy though because at least he's not getting an attitude, he's just being difficult. Where I work, you get this and the customer looks for any reason to raise their voice and call you all kinds of names. Also ones who come in as if they are in a hurry but don't know what they are looking for and you're supposed to be able to figure out what they need quickly. I've even had customers try to tell me how to do my job. They are clearly not making sense but talk in circles and you get nowhere. It's like some of them come in to start something.

I've even had customers try to tell me how to do my job. They are clearly not making sense but talk in circles and you get nowhere. It's like some of them come in to start something.

Grover has always been one of my top 5 of the SS Muppets. Y'all need to watch the very first one. The one you played was a later one. The very first one is Grover severing him Alphabet Soup to Fat Blue or Mr. Johnson. Doesn't matter to me how you address him but I call him Fat Blue or Mr. Johnson.

I get what Martin was saying, because Im like that sometimes (wishy-washy). Only difference is, Im self aware enough to try and not let it inconvenience others. Grover had a right to be frustrated. He shouldnt have let it affect how he handled his future orders, because the guy was probably just having a bad day. But I can see both sides.
