I have the 4.5" windshield now and it works amazing. I have photos on my IG of a guy who installed the standard size engine guard and then added the traditional lower fairings.
@@robertvittetoe6158 Great choice!! I love the look of the new SG fairing, trying to convince my friend to upgrade to one so I can look at it when he’s riding with me 🤣🤣
Matt!! The color is amazing. Love the box set up. Can’t wait to see the upgrades. T Bars are in my future as well. Since i have the thrashin floorboards/shifter/brake pad, their T-Bars are the obvious choice. #KeepRipping
Nice vid and start to your customization. I like the “Box” you have. Can you share the details on it as I have the same bike and color. Again great video.
Nice bike. That’s my favorite color for the new road glide. The slip on’s sound really good. Can’t wait to see what you add to it next. Be safe on your travels.
Make sure you adjust the rear shocks, particularly the right side. You can always get suspension but this system is upgraded and once you adjust it for your weight it’s really good. I’ve had no issues with mine.
After adjusting my rear shocks I don’t see a need to get a new suspension right away, and if you’ve watched any of my videos you know I push this bike hard.
Did you get your bike tuned for the pipes? It helps to have it done. The results may be surprising. By the way, I like the look of the box. Quite a good idea and a handle.
Half the fun of bike ownership. Making it ours. Careful considered modifications for long distance riding. Experience on the road cannot be bought. 🇦🇺✌🏻
Just remove the top clamp that holds the handlebars in place. On the underside of the clamp is a pin. Snip off or grind off that pin and it allow much more room to roll the bars forward. I did the same to mine.
It’s more of an ADV thing, but it comes off easily with a handle so I just pop it off and bring it into the hotel at night. Plus I like putting the stickers on it. 🤷🏻♂️
Got a 24RG, also Whiskey Fire, but with chrome. I had SE cannon slip-ons installed, pro street tuner and a wedge air filter, looks good, stock motor feels really strong. Just installed a Saddlemen Road Sofa CF Ext. Reach seat (no backrest), very comfortable, sits me back a couple inches. To break up the chrome look, I installed a pair of black empire mirrors, and the carbon fiber center console (which looks fantastic against the whiskey fire color). Got a 10" Harley wind splitter now (which works fine), but will change over to a 11" freedom shield, and install Memphis shades when I get them. Have fun on your trip.
Sounds like an epic trip !!
Can’t wait!!!

I’ve been considering trying the 4.5” one, it looks amazing.
Looking forward to watching the Banff trip. I was there this winter and I now definitely want to go back and do it on a bike. Cheers!
I was there late fall, it’s an insane place.
“Box” 😂😂
🤣🤣
I want the box! 2024 Street Glide in the same color with chrome trim.

@@robertvittetoe6158 I’ll give a deep dive on the box in a new video about packing for the trip.
The "box" is actually genius. I totally understand where you're going with that. Sounds great too!
Thanks, I did it as well!
Sick glide bro 💪
👊👊👊

I agree, the Thrashin T-Bars are really solid. I may go that direction as well! And thanks!

Thank you, me too!!
Couple more things happening for sure before the big trip.
You dont have to hold the starter button. Just push to start. Shocks would be one of the first of upgrades on the list. More important than a cam.
Make sure you adjust the rear shocks, particularly the right side. You can always get suspension but this system is upgraded and once you adjust it for your weight it’s really good. I’ve had no issues with mine.

Looks good. Can't wait to see the upgrades you make for long distance riding.
Looking amazing! That trip is going to be amazing.
Dude, I CANNOT wait!
Carbon front fender 👌🏽 and I like the box 📦 😅looks dope
🤣🤣. I know, that carbon fender is enticing. But once you start adding CF parts I don’t think you can stop…
Looking really good Matt..
Thank you!
Yeah...i like the bag!!. Any details you could give me ?
Hogworks rack and pelican case bolted together. I like it!
Sounds good 👍👍
Thanks, I agree!
Interesting concept with the “BOX” ! Does it quick release from the the rack or the rack comes off with it into the hotel ?
The rack is the quick release part, so it comes into the hotel. But it rests perfectly on those short hotel bag stands.
She’s lookin good! The box is a great idea. I bet you could find a painter to color match it? And that trip sounds awesome 👊🏼
Probably could, but I like putting the trip stickers on it.
@@FullTankAdventures gotcha. I like it, great idea 👍🏼
Nice video nice bike
Thank you!
Do you have a link to your black storage box? I'm also interested in going that direction instead of the very expensive quick detach tour pack.
@@ryanweigler5835 A friend of mine made them actually. He was selling them for a bit but they never took off.

No not yet. But I probably will.
Can you tell me what pack you have on the back. I like the looks and utilityof it.
Following… curious as well
It’s called a RackPak.
@@FullTankAdventures I tried looking it up and could not find it. Would you have a link to it?

So true!
How did you get your stock bars forward. I tried but it stops a certain angle.
Just remove the top clamp that holds the handlebars in place.
On the underside of the clamp is a pin. Snip off or grind off that pin and it allow much more room to roll the bars forward. I did the same to mine.
I just loosened the clamp and pushed them forward a bit.
Nice bike But why would you have that poxy looking box on the back?
It’s more of an ADV thing, but it comes off easily with a handle so I just pop it off and bring it into the hotel at night. Plus I like putting the stickers on it. 🤷🏻♂️
What kind of phone holder do you have? Thanks in advance
It’s a Rokform case and mount.
Thank you 🙏🏻. Love your videos. Keep up the good vibes.
@@miraziztoy Thank you, will do!

Those SE cannon mufflers are awesome, love the sound, look and performance! Congrats on the new bike!
