These are so hard to get. I didn’t want to be without protection so I went with a set from Santoro Fabworx and I’m happy with them. I originally wanted those Harley end caps but those were also back ordered until January of next year so I got a set of Cadillac wheels from Santoro Fabworxs as well.
Thanks for this video... I have the old style guard just put on my 2024 Road Glide FLTRX and they do NOT extend past the bags. It doesn't look like these new style ones do either. On mine, the saddlebag reflector/lock piece is out further than the guards. Can you verify if yours are too? Thank you in advance.... !
The old style did not go past the bags unless you had the old style CVO 23.5 up ones. I had some cheap Amazon ones until I could get my hands on the new style and they worked as I set the bike down to test, but the bag was extremely close the the ground. The new style work well. I actually dropped my bike softly backing it out of my driveway a few weeks ago and it did not touch my bike. The bag does flare out, but the contact point of the new style guards will touch the ground before the bag comes close. I hope this helps!
@@deanv8312 I am selling these ones if you’re interested. Otherwise it’s from ride like a pro. They’re about $350 I think. I’m selling these for $200. If interested message me on Instagram. @_goseeit
@@jeffbenge6909 I have not. I was actually going to list them locally tomorrow. If you’re interested shoot me a message on my IG if you can @_goseeit on IG
I just installed my flat out bar. The washers are not required on my '24 Road Glide. From the installation instructions... 3. Loosely install socket head screws (3). a. 2014-2016 models: Install washers (2) between Flat-Out Bar (1) and frame.
Looking good.
@@OnyxCVO thank you so much 🤘

Wow! I waited for about 3 months but got these in July as promised. Santoro makes rad stuff! I was close to going that route myself.

@@_goseeit Thank you!! :)
Is there a chance you could tell me where to get the guard protection for the original HD bars? The round corners??
