Did the MIL not think ahead at all??? Like hello. A police chiefs daughter who was young and healthy; goes to her future in-laws house (after the MIL has been horrible to her) then suddenly she gets extremely sick after shellfish was in a shepherds pie and then suddenly dies the next night…those are some huge red flags. Also all those texts add more evidence. The truth would have come out fast and she would have still lost her baby boy.
I’m kinda surprised my ex MIL never tried that with me. She hated me so much she encouraged her son to cheat on me and leave me. And her husband had cheated on her and she never got over that pain but was willing to put me through it.
