    Thank you Jason, I was struggling to find out why my normal maps were darkening my object, "color space: raw" .10x again

      You're welcome, Shwawen! It's always a good rule of thumb that if you know your maps are correct and that they aren't rendering properly, to check out the colour space in Maya. This goes for displacement and normal maps, as well as if you are using a linear workflow to manage your overall colour.
