The level of evil that was exposed so blatantly in 2020, brought millions together and closer to God. It was incredibly difficult to accept that so many had no idea that they were being used and destroyed! Ryan makes a good point, in that people believe the shit that has gone down in the last few years is the worst thing anyone has experienced. It isn't, it's not even registering on the scale of the past sufferings of humanity, we are here as captive souls, in my opinion, to serve some sick agenda.

What did I think when the first lockdown started?
I didn't think it would last. I didn't think people would take it seriously. The whole "Two weeks the flatten the curve." I thought, "They'll be lucky. There'll be riots surely."
I was wrong.
Then, when the spears came out, my main worry was for my parents. Their complete acceptance of everything else so far had shaken me but I had been dropping heavy hints, hints heavier than hints into every conversation and I hoped that they'd say. "Oh no. Don't worry. We weren't born yesterday. It's gone on long enough."
I thought they'd bring up the war and be disparaging of 'Papers Please!'
I wronger.
All my efforts seemed to be counterproductive. They went completely the other way. All of this does relate to Christianity because my faith did help me navigate my way through.
The right path is never the easy one. The story of the narrow gate. It was astounding to me how the coward's way out was being presented as bravery and so few people saw it. Raise the white flag immediately. (Or rather the blue blotting paper face square.) and call it victory.

It was the Great Reveal. We learn who we were, and who others were. I can still honestly say that I have not met a decent person who had it. It was the ultimate moral test.

You just can't trust them 100% ever again.
Can you tell, without even asking if they've had it? Because I think I can. I would even say with higher than 95% accuracy.
They just give off a vibe.
Can they tell that we're not? I don't think most of them can. The surprise on their faces when they find out is quite genuine, I have discovered.

With respect Kathryn, I don't know why you were surprised at any of the majority behaviour, I would have only been surprised if they'd have rebelled against it all.
The proof was already in the pudding, the public never has made a fuss about equally fundamental issues that have and are having devastating effects on our standard of living. I don't remember anyone protesting about state pension age increases, or the effects of mass and uncontrolled immigration, to name but a few.
By the way, your parents' generation never knew the meaning of "papers please" but that's the narrative they were given to lay down their lives to oppose. Most ironically it's us who will suffer that indignance, and it's already here up and ready to go, it just hasn't been fully implemented yet.
I loved what Ryan said about the divoc and how he felt he was the sane one and it was others that were loosing their minds 😮
I wish i had thought like that at the beginning as i have stated before in a comment , i was in a dark place at the ‘prison sentence’ summer one.
Now though i know i am sane like so many others here , and a follower of Jesus and His way , hate ‘religion’ i will not use that word to describe myself or what i believe.

It was interesting looking back to March 2020 - my feeling at the time was similar to Ryan's. I couldn't understand what was happening, and how, people who I thought I knew were behaving terribly. In many ways, it was the great reveal.

He's been a guest on the sheepfarm podcast a couple of times along with Mark Bajerski. If I remember rightly Jerry said psalm 23 gets rid of the demons.

I agree about Church. I have been to two local churches and it was horrible. No kindness,no welcome,no acceptance. When you are among people who make you feel that you are hard to love back away. I don’t even feel that Jesus would be welcome there. Church is the last place I will go now. I don’t need their company I have my Father in heaven,his wonderful Son and the Holy Spirit. That is all I need
A local c of e minister here is an agenda pushing marxist scumbag. He ticks every virtue signalling, lefty box. His actions around advocating in court for migrants and spreading fear ( he posted that one in two hundred people in the city would die from divoc) were/are crazed.
The march through the institutions includes the religions.
In the Bible, Jesus wasn't in agreement with the religious leaders of His day

Nigel, the greek word for meek is the same word to describe the taming of a wild horse. Men have to have power and then control it. Consider Christ. Legions of angels at His becon call. Yet He was always humble. Even when driving out the money changes from the temple. ❤

Several Greek words can be used to mean meek, the one I am most familiar with is very close to a favourite word of theirs which is very derogatory, and it is therefore easy to see how the word is misinterpreted in many languages and arrives at something meaning daft or soft. Meek means humble, at the same time one shouldn't abuse humble people, one does so at one's peril.
Meek or humble people tend to get the shitty end of the stick, I know this only too well from personal experience, yet the people who become contemptuous towards meek people are very often the ones closest to them, family, friends, partners etc, these people haven't the sense to recognize their error until the kindness they exploit is withdrawn.

Ryan is a really interesting guest. I enjoyed listening to all he was saying.
The C of E is a gloomy place and all about power and control. I was obliged to attend until the age of about 14 when I rebelled against it as I came to the conclusion that the established church had become spiritually derelict and corrupted. And that was because I was fortunate to come across the work of the great English mystics like the anonymous author of the 'Cloud of Unknowing' and Julian of Norwich. They set me on the right path.

I'm sure we all agree that the fallen angels can take on any form they want to, probably even multiple beings at the same time, like a tremendously skilled pupper master and animator.
And even create temporary, short-lived realms to give them the room to harass you, which can explain why no one ever sees them terrorising people for hours. Or folk tales throughout the world of people going missing, and sometimes returning with no passage of time from their PoV.
Being pure minds, don't try to visualise them. Instead, imagine that they have tremendous knowledge and ability. They don't exist in any particular location, but are forbidden from exercising certain free will choices that God does not approve of. I found that's this is best way to begin to understand them with our physical brains.

It's strange, but I think the bible only "works" when you are blessed with "eyes that see". Give the bible to someone whose heart is hardened and eyes are closed and they'll go straight to the old testament and start saying stuff like "God seems to approve of rape and incest". You'll then say "No! You should start at the New Testament, read the Gospels" and they'll say "It makes no sense". It's definitely written that way, i.e. any presupposition will be delivered (if you want to love the words you will and visa versa). I just pray people get the eyes to see it.
I also witnessed a middle of the night shape shifting presence, these things felt like they were fighting over entering my head (and appeared a bit like screaming faces in between demonic looking shapes". I said "In the name of Jesus leave me alone" and they were gone and I haven't experienced anything like it again. I had just woken up (around 3am), but I believe it was real and I believe in God and Jesus and that he died for our sins and was resurrected 3 days later.

Hiphop has not 'always been quite degenerate'
Dr Dre released the album The Chronic in 1992 which started a new dark era for rap and hiphop.
Most of what was mainstream rap and hiphop before that was very upbeat, intelligent, and fun.
Hence why the switch to angry, negative, and confrontational had to be made.

Of course, yeh look into it. The early stuff is so much more fun, and upbeat, then there was a dramatic shift into 'gangster' rap which fuelled the egos of young men.
People have spoken out in recent years about meetings that they had with music executives at the time - about changing the direction of the genre.
Tupac is perfect example, a drama school trained actor, who practised ballet, and was likely homosexual (which I have nothing against), who turned into this wannabe gangster, and found out the hard way, that he wasn't about that life...
