It wasn’t until covid19 lockdown that I started watching true crime and realized how naive I was. The respect I have for police officers came directly from watching body cams and interrogations. I don’t know how I lived in nyc since 2006 and remained safe despite having many run ins with subway murderers and drug dealers who killed others from the nightclub scene. God bless the detectives
They botch things pretty good eh? You can truly claim you re no longer naive after you've exposed yourself to enough cases that you realize police fail in most of them. You're welcome.
The audience doesn’t need you to stop him every couple minutes and sum up what the guy said. Let the guy tell the story! I don’t know if I can make it through the whole thing which is a shame

Really takes a while to learn to be a good interviewer. Theo only recently started getting good at this. Bert still hasn’t mastered that at all lol. Kudos to Mark for bringing on guests like Codella and not just comedy people. Hopefully Mark continues to develop his skills as an interviewer and the show grows. PS if you’re ever in Staten Island, come train with Codella. I’ve been a student of his for almost 10 years now. Really great academy.

He’s got that rough around the edges New York feel to him but you can just feel his good energy through the screen. Honestly. I look forward to this and flagrant every week mannn keep it up Mark 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼
How many of these heroes are left a dying breed? What happened to the world where everyone seems crooked and corrupt and no one has any integrity. Everyone is all for themselves. What an interesting interview. Good job, dude, God bless. Thank you.
Just watching this reminded me of how so many people have said that human trafficking doesn't only involve the average person but higher up, people in law enforcement, border patrol, CIA agents and people that are in power.
The fact that there was photo proof of what that Tiny dude did and they still let him be an informant sitting in the same car as them is very telling about this whole system.
He obviously got caught for another crime to be back in the position to help the police again, seeing that he only helped when it was In his best interest.. my take away was the lack of integrary from the system as well, rather catch the money guys then take down the pedos
Hey there! This is the first episode of your UA-cam that I’ve ever watched and I really liked you and loved the Detective. I’ve been a police sergeant for 20 years and am still working in Miami-Dade County, Florida. I’m very aware of the existence of satanic cults and the fact that they run deep within the politics and entertainment industries. However, I had never heard that it is common for men to go missing on New Year’s Eve. I’m going to have to look into that. Also, I loved the Detective’s face when you asked him if he was armed. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 My friend, we don’t go anywhere unarmed. Not after what we see and know. Again, I loved this interview and I subscribed. 👍🏻👍🏻❤️❤️
I hope he understands that the reason he’s still alive to talk about all of this is that he’s fulfilling his purpose. The one assigned to him by God and he agreed to. He’s been protected by guardian angels. And I am sure he realizes that unseen warfare is real as he has witnessed its manifestation in person. May he be continued to be protected and bless him and his family. And bless this youn man who is interviewing him. Evil is real and the dark forces behind it are also. Don’t be afraid and don’t be fooled. We are passing through here. Make the best of it. Seek the one ☝️ that created you.
I guess God's purpose for all those children and babies being graped was fulfilled as well based off the scriptures. Doesn't it say in the bible that God knows your years and number of days before you are even born? Or something very similar to that? GOd sounds worse than Lucifer, to have the power to stop evil but instead just give ppl the choice to either do evil or do good is diabolical. I've seen good ppl die while evil folks lived long enough to die in retirement homes. One of my friends patients grabbed her arm and told her he raped lots of women while he was young, he died later that week in the nursing home with a smile on his face 😢😅
He surely walked through the valleys & shadows of death, but The Lord guided him with His staff to fulfill His Will to shed light in a DARK place. I pray his heart (if it hasn't already) comes to the realization of this and he follows Christ, as I believe Christ is/was with him and many other men and women who dare to walk into these shadows amongst demons.
@@mikecodellaupagainstthewallChrist has walked with you to bless many. I pray you give your heart to him, brother. Regardless, I thank you for your service and courage. @@kittysoft_pawwws5127 Kubrick tried to tell us. 27 mins was cut out of that film and Kubrick died soon after. He really touched a nerve. His own family knows something shady happened.
I have heard this man interviewed before. He is very knowledgeable. The Satan element in Yonkers was investigated in 80s based on the strange twists in Son of Sam in mid 70s. Berkowitz lived in Yonkers. He was the fall guy told to plead guilty for all of them so there was no trial. Some believe a much larger group was involved all along. Because Berkowitz car got ticketed during the last of them he had to take the rap. An abandoned Untermeyer park in a Yonkers, since cleaned up, had rituals performed by groups at night. Some wealthy people living nearby were rumored to be involved. The tubeu channel in 2022 was making interesting videos digging into it, interviewing old witnesses and retired NYPD, one day he quit full stop without explanation. There is a book by an investigative journalist (criticized during the 80s $atanicPanic era) that is an interesting read. Poor Etan rest in peace. His parents never stopped looking for him. They never moved, kept same phone number.
So many missing people in america especially children, i would say that 80% are occult murders involving high profile people, nicole kessinger is in a cult and was no doubt involved in the murders of shannon watts and her children, they coined the term satanic panic to make everyone think it didnt exist, sadly it is rife all over the world and everyone in the upper echelons is involved that is why the police do nothing especially as high ranking police personnel are also members of these cults... God please save us from the evil that has enveloped our world 🙏
as a true crime junkie i was interested in finding this channel you mentioned. find numerous channels called 'tubeu' but not with that kind of content. any tips?
I watched Cropsey and Geraldo on Willowbrook. I worked with the mentally handicapped in the 80s and was shocked that people were treated that way. All State run facilities have a terrible history!
Fun fact: 800,000+ kids go missing every year here in the US. The rates of kidnappings skyrockets in the months leading up to winter solstice which has significance when it comes to occult practices.
@ZachSquatch7 Yes. This is what I found online. Yes, more than 800,000 children are reported missing in the United States each year, and an additional 500,000 go missing without being reported. This means that a child goes missing in the US every 40 seconds.
@@mikecodellaupagainstthewall prepared to be shocked. hsu.vermont.gov/missing-persons#:~:text=A%20child%20goes%20missing%20every,and%20Delinquency%20Prevention%20(OJJDP).
Exactly! I would just like to hear him but this podcaster interrupts with questions a six year old could think of way too many times 😂 Its getting irritating.
It takes a special person to be able to compartmentalise feelings and get the job done it’s bound to take a toll on any decent person 😢 what a good man ❤
I feel this in my job at times. I work in forensic mental health and you have to turn off the judgement and emotion and wear a poke face. When you do this so often it desensitizes you to macabre things. You have to keep an eye on your own psyche at times or it can affect you
Also I grew up in Canarsie, I also lived in Glendale Queens when I was older. I use to go visit my Mom and Dad in Starrett City, I would take a street called snake rd. To the inter Boro on that rd ther was a cemetery on both sides. One morning at around 1or 2am I was a light on thet rd and saw 3 individuals walking toward me on the side of the rd. .It took me a while to register what i was seeing. They were wearing red robs and hood climbing the fence to get into the cemetery. I looked into the cemetery and in a distance I saw a bright light that was a fire. I blew thru the light and any other light that was there until I got onto the Inter Boro. I still get creep out thing about it.
Watch and pay close attention to Julian Dorey/Shawn Ryan. That’s how you’re supposed to do interviews. Ask questions once they’ve finished their answer/story
EXACTLY!! I JUST COMMENTED THIS!! THE CONSTANT INTERRUPTIONS TAKES THE STORY OFF TRACK AND DISRUPTS THE FLOW!! SO FRUSTRATING TO WATCH AND LISTEN TO!!!
I’m from Staten Island, back in the 90’s as kids we used to go explore abandoned buildings, schools, the old Sebring Hospital. We would find pentagrams, melted candles etc.
That part about Codella puking up and going back in 2hrs later 😢 what a hero, makes me feel like wow wth have I ever done. Exemplary bravery sir, hats off to you 🙏💯
Definitely, a sweet elderly gentleman used to come into the restaurant I worked in every morning. I loved waiting on him. He always had the BEST stories. He had worked in multiple police agencies and eventually ended up with state police. Miss him so very very dearly 😢
The Process church were HUGELY in contact with Charles Manson, during the end of the 60's also. And during the Son of Sam's era, a journalist named Maury Terry had it ALL figured out, but NYPD did'nt want to listen to him. Same during the Andre Rand story...
There was some small connection between scientology and Manson, but Process is a bit harder to get evidence for if there is any. And Berkowitz only claimed that a cult was involved after Terrys book was released in 1987, after that in the 90s Berkowitz claimed to be born again and told that story which doesn't seem believable at all since Berkowitz never mentioned it before. But people will believe what they want to believe with no evidence

Flagrant sucks in my opinion. I like Andrew but he is extremely cringe and it’s hard to watch lol. This is by far the best podcast out there hands down. This dude is legendary at doing interviews. You can tell he is very passionate about it.
@@SiLentAbyss41haha i feel you, my girl also says the same at times. FLagrant can definitely be a bit cringe, but honestly I still never missed an episode. Your opinion is valid thought :D
He starts off that way (as OP said) but he eventually, after about 40 minutes in, the rapport builds and he lets the Mr. Codella get in his story flow/the questions get more natural, less "I'm trying to be an excellent interviewer." This reminds me of my family in NJ/NYC, the Azzolinis, who owned Bluepoint Restaurant in the 40's.
Thankyou for sharing your stories and for all that you did for people in your career. I can't imagine the mental trauma these cases inflict on you guys but you power through for the greater good. Incredibly honorable and noble ❤
@ 22:45 the officer made a mistake in the location that Tiny gave him regarding the sacrificed girl. It’s not Forest Hills Park, it’s Forest Park in Glendale/Woodhaven in Queens. Forest Hills which was a few miles away does not have a park like that, and Forest Park in Woodhaven / Glendale was always known for that type of garbage. People were terrified walking through there at night…
I got to say. Normally I'm super ADHD and can't focus and just skip ahead in podcast until I find the questions I want answered. But your videos I just watch straight through as you're an excellent interviewer and really let your guest speak.
I love your tent. I hope you are safe and somewhere warm. My grandma grew up in the Santa Anita Canyon in a tent! Her father was a traveling photographer for Colliers Magazine, and was one of the first photographers who took photographs of the 1906 Earthquake.
There is a book named the ultimate Evil by Terry "something don't remember last name. He was a reporter for one of New Yorks news paper. David B wrote to him and was interviewed by Terry. The book will scare you, especially if you had no idea about what is going on. Mike, in this interview confirmed what was said in this book.
Which he wrote in 1987 at the peak of the "satanic panic" nonsense obviously capitalizing on the craze and then later Berkowitz ran with that and claimed he was born again 😂 You people are so gullible, you just eat up whatever you want to hear with no sufficient evidence.

I lived in the East Village in the 80s. The apt I moved into there had a floor painted black with a big pentagram on it (I painted over it). Don’t get me started on the drugs! Good times.
A lot of people are negatively commenting on him summing up what the cop said every so often. I do not know if this is typical for his interview behavior, but I actually appreciated it because the cop clearly doesn’t think linearly when recalling his memories… he jumps around from subject to subject and gets side-tracked a little. I’m the same way when I tell stories and often end up having to re-explain what I just said in the same way that the interviewer is for the guest. In my opinion, all he was doing was trying to do was take what the just guest said and put it in simplified, concise, and sequential form because the guest obviously has difficulty doing that, which a LOT of people do. Especially me. That’s just how I interpreted it, though.
Wow your comment really helped me to understand the interview style. I been getting into podcasts a lot this past summer for the first time and I’ve noticed this style quite a lot! Interviews are human too and sometimes they too have a hard time directing a conversation but for the most part, they do amazing work. I could listen to 5 hour long podcasts if I wanted to because most interviews eventually find a flow. I feel that they probably take in both the positive and negative comments and work on improving their channel. Anyways, talking about going off on rants I definitely went on a rant there 😂 but again, amazing comment! I love your insight it truly helped me to understand why they repeat and backtrack the guest’s stories.
I really enjoyed this podcast, Mike is a remarkable person and has so many interesting stories! Its mind blowing listening to his experience as cop! Respect to all good Police men and woman out there, doing their best in making this world a better place by fighting crime!
This is the worst interviewer I've ever seen. Without his stupid ass questions and "wows" the story would have been so much more interesting. At every point he derails the entire conversation. Absolutely horrible.
I remember babies going missing and they were found in garbage cans in Chicago area and what they couldn’t tell the public was that the blood was drained from these babies. This was the 1960s ! we live in a world that is devoid of goodness.
They drink the blood of their enemies, and back then, they left the bodies lay. Now, they grind them up and put them into fast food companies after their rituals. Just look into how many people go missing each year that have never been found. These caults are very real and have been untouchable for years.
Quickly becoming my favourite podcast. Love your calm manner and how you let the guests talk without unnecessary interruptions. Too many podcasters try and make the show about themselves (Julien Dorey comes to mind) which is really exhausting. Keep up the great work Mark 🤙
You're kidding right! He keeps asking questions he's already answered! Back tracking the whole time! Had to be annoying for the guest! Obviously he doesn't pay attention at all!
Love this guest. Stand up guy. We need a thousand of them. Fascinating interview. Try not to interrupt too much. You’re a good interviewer, but you need to let them talk. Less is more.
Im stunned at marks naivety sometimes it’s easy forget how sheltered suburban kids are from reality , completely oblivious to the world around them clearly by design
Great content, awesome potential here…as others have said, listen and absorb what the guest says and then respond when he goes quiet. Also, Mike needed water or at the minimum, a break!

Just watching this reminded me of how so many people have said that human trafficking doesn't only involve the average person but higher up, people in law enforcement, border patrol, CIA agents and people that are in power.
It's one hell of a rabbit hole.

The fact that there was photo proof of what that Tiny dude did and they still let him be an informant sitting in the same car as them is very telling about this whole system.
He did his time n was gonna help put others away. He didn't get any break.

Welcome!
For sure I believe in Guardian Angels❤ n I have a few😉
I guess God's purpose for all those children and babies being graped was fulfilled as well based off the scriptures. Doesn't it say in the bible that God knows your years and number of days before you are even born? Or something very similar to that? GOd sounds worse than Lucifer, to have the power to stop evil but instead just give ppl the choice to either do evil or do good is diabolical. I've seen good ppl die while evil folks lived long enough to die in retirement homes. One of my friends patients grabbed her arm and told her he raped lots of women while he was young, he died later that week in the nursing home with a smile on his face 😢😅
Lol cops, specifically NYPD, also serve and protect the satanic/Jwish mysticism cults.

I also read the Maury Terry book. 👍🏻

Watch Conspiracy Of Silence. Satanic panic was real and they tried to cover it up by inventing the False Memory Syndrome founded by satanists.
I watched Cropsey and Geraldo on Willowbrook. I worked with the mentally handicapped in the 80s and was shocked that people were treated that way. All State run facilities have a terrible history!
Very sad
Fun fact: 800,000+ kids go missing every year here in the US. The rates of kidnappings skyrockets in the months leading up to winter solstice which has significance when it comes to occult practices.
Winter n summer s.

@@ZachSquatch7 sounds high but who knows
@ZachSquatch7 Yes. This is what I found online.
Yes, more than 800,000 children are reported missing in the United States each year, and an additional 500,000 go missing without being reported. This means that a child goes missing in the US every 40 seconds.

To the inter Boro on that rd ther was a cemetery on both sides. One morning at around 1or 2am I was a light on thet rd and saw 3 individuals walking toward me on the side of the rd. .It took me a while to register what i was seeing. The Process church were HUGELY in contact with Charles Manson, during the end of the 60's also.
And during the Son of Sam's era, a journalist named Maury Terry had it ALL figured out, but NYPD did'nt want to listen to him. Same during the Andre Rand story...
Maury Terry was a trash liar. The dude paid his sources and got massively conned by many of them. Billy the Artist is a case in point.

He starts off that way (as OP said) but he eventually, after about 40 minutes in, the rapport builds and he lets the Mr. Codella get in his story flow/the questions get more natural, less "I'm trying to be an excellent interviewer."
