I totally agree with how you explained the lyrics' meaning i think it's also a pattern happening in the Muslim world at large that we hurt and betray each other. As groups or countries. We ally with ppl who hurt oue friends or our friends hurt us and we have no choice and there's a mass of confusion nowadays due to conflicts and betrayals.
