Nick Sacco Nah, purely for the cameras .... These dudes don’t process this serious shit.... they are incapable of doing so.... Plus, lets face it, Ryan Dunn was a raging alcoholic who was HAMMERED while driving ... Very sad nonetheless... I don’t wish this on anyone....
I'm glad I came across this today. I watched it when it first came out and just watched it again as a 35 year old, and Ryan Dunn is still one of my favorite entertainers of all time. I wish I could have met him. Those of you who have, and those who had him as a friend, you are all very lucky. RIP, Ryan and and Zach.
I met Ryan in punxsutawney when they filmed an episode of viva LA bam where they go and meet Phil. As the one part said was that he truly loved his fans. Bam didn't care about us at all, but Ryan and rake sat there and talked to me and about 5 of my friends for a solid 20 minutes. And all we talked about was music. One of the highlights of my life. You can hate Ryan Dunn for how he died. You can hate him for getting his friend killed. Hell I'm sure his own friends and family hate him for that. But that doesn't mean you can't think back on his life and see what an incredible guy he was. Does this tragic mistake in his life overshadow everything he did before it? I really wish they had used some unreleased Dunn material, it was still nice with the for Ryan at the end but.. Mabye in forever. 5 or even the bonus material they will put something from Dunn in there.. He's still part of the family
I am 1,000 miles away from my buds. But we stay in touch. Everyday. We have good times, laugh, shoot the shit, argue, get pissed at each other. Push each other. At the end of the day we always find the central focus. The good times. The memories. Stay in touch with your boys. That's all I can say.
"it was like he was ready to go" same thought with my brother died this year. I can't my brother was a good positive laid-back. Alot of people regret not speaking to him but the ones who did NEEDED it and they lost it. Love you Michael Arellanes 1994-2021. Ryan Dunn passing just reminds me of the good people gone too soon.
Watching this in 2021 makes me wonder what Ryan would be up too these days. Working along the boys in the new movie. They probably could've had this movie a long time ago. We will never know. I like to imagine he would have a podcast or mayne his own show. Or even if he was just living his life. That would all be nice. We all miss you Ryan. Still all these years later.
We may never know, but I think (at least wishfully on my end) he would have kept Bam from spiraling down. Sure, Bam already had issues before Dunn's death, but I'd imagine Dunn would have at least been a factor in Bam actually trying to fix his drug issues, mental issues, and even his marriages.
Seeing the sparkle in Bam's eyes when he talks about Dunn is so heartwarming. I'd love to think that he'd be in a much better place nowadays if Dunn was still alive.
Bam spiralling out of control was on him, not due to the death of Ryan Dunn. He still had support from the entire Jackass crew, and while I have no doubt that the death of Ryan Dunn was a catalyst that started his downfall, it wasn't the entire reason it happened.
I was very young when Dunn died, too young to have a clue anyway, but I still feel so attached to him. I grew up watching the show just like everyone else, and I'll never stop mourning such a great soul. Rest in peace, buddy.

It's insane how fast time flew by. Ryan was the coolest of the CKY or Jackass crews. Always calm, even in the face of sheer pain. I'm not sure how he would react if he were still alive to see the state of Bam now. Then again, Bam would probably be doing much better if Ryan was here.
He was already that way before dunns death, why do you think dico raab rake etc all left him after viva la bam? They hated his party drug lifestyle and only novak stayed ofcourse. He just had a reason to use publicly since dunns death
They took a bunch of hard partying kids. Stuck them together. Gave them all sorts of money, fame and travelled the world and you expect a different result?
@@KayJay940 there is no "they" the cky crew got fame themselves, and you say what did you expect, well the rest walked away from "fame money etc" only bam and novak had problems and now only bam.

And I firmly believe that a lot of you can stand next to me when I say that, like the men in this tribute, I have also lost Ryan. I know I'm years late but please be OK guys. I know it's hard. I'll think of Ryan more often now, and with a big smile. RIP Ryan Dunn.

Everyone is wondering when the timeline diverged into this hell world we're in now. This was it. Ryan Dunn's death was when everything changed.
The world ended when Ryan Dunn died.
Change my mind.
Absolutely true.

Bam was the most affected by this. You can just see it in his face at 36:40
Of course he was. They were like the bestest of friends. If that makes sense
GLITCHED MATRIX FUCK, im so sorry for you i hope you will get back up one day but still remember him as a good friend
GLITCHED MATRIX yeah makes this a little harder to watch, life is fucked sometimes
Molly Winchester They were more than friends, they were practically brothers

Nah, purely for the cameras ....
Same. Except I'm 30 now lol jackass forever
Streetbike tommy's reaction made me tear up.
Jackass was my childhood Dunn dying felt like a family member died
That's a bit much
I met Ryan in punxsutawney when they filmed an episode of viva LA bam where they go and meet Phil. As the one part said was that he truly loved his fans. Bam didn't care about us at all, but Ryan and rake sat there and talked to me and about 5 of my friends for a solid 20 minutes. And all we talked about was music. One of the highlights of my life. RIP

Well that's for each of us to decide on our own.

It may be 2019 and onwards, but we will always remember Ryan. I had such fun times watching Jackass in the 2000s. We miss you Ryan.
i come back to this video every few years, and it gets me every time. i can't see the part where bam starts crying without tearing up myself. rip dunn.
I really feel that’s where Bam lost some of his spirit. He crashed and burned after it. I hope he can keep his sobriety up. Addiction is no joke.
five years and i still tear up remembering how many times i've watched dunn on all the bits he's been in over my younger years.

I’ve met Ryan 3-4 times around the Cleveland area. Before and at his peak was always the nicest guy. Will forever be missed

Probably in pain from Lyme disease.

This happened 3 years ago and I still can't get over it. We will never forget you Ryan
