It's actually worse here in South Africa. We currently don't know the price of the PS5 pro. It's actually expected to cost around R20K South African rand & it could cost more with the disc drive. The standard PS5 costs around R14K South African rand. The same goes for the Xbox Series X.

Yeah it should be somewhat cheaper than an equivalent PC. Also the 6000 mb/s sequential requirement doesn't make sense for SSDs, random Io is important
Plus no SATA port anymore , only 1 SSD Port m2 beside internal one , big games are fine on SSD but option for smaller older games on HDD would be nice.i guess that's what external HDDs are for lol

PS4 games can be played via external USB HDD.
