after 1 year, and 4 mountain climbing just few scratches on plastic, and more glossy metal. really water resistant. i replaced 1 battery. in winter and etc. when temperature below 0, pixels on screen can be slowly updated, but its normally for lcd displays.

I think it is possible. the metal part can be removed, it is fixed on the pin. the cord can be inserted into a red piece of plastic
