You were not wrong, from a chemical perspective when you combine them with fatty acid, they do function in this way, this is why in a lot of traditional non vegetarian cooking incorporates a lot of onion and garlic during meat preparation, to help with digestion. But if you go vegetarian you dont need them so much in you diet 🙏🏻
