Hey, thanks for this video. Just a small clarification: this full setup u show here, will cost much more than 1k for camera body. It's important to realize this fact for beginners like me, who is planning to buy their first camera (i bought my first bmpcc 4k 3 month ago), because we need to know, that it's not enough just to get camera body to start shooting. Lens, extra battery, follow focus, sound recorder, mics all those clamp etc will increase final price, and are absolutely necessary for any kind of commercial job.
I agree it will cost more, but same could be said for any camera. You will of course need a lens, batteries, a cage, etc, I just wanted to clarify that starting price of just the body, as that will be in some cases the most significant cost. I’m essentially stating that for a little over £1K for just the body, you can get RAW recording and 12 bit colour, instead of spending 3 times the price on something like the FX3 which has less capability👌🏻 (also the follow focus and audio reorders are more a luxury than a necessity)
If you’re a commercial operator it doesn’t need to be said at all… because your miles ahead of just starting out. Bearing in mind HOUSE MD was shot on three canon 5dmk2…. U do not need a follow focus, and many other items to make money in this era. The most important thing is what you make, not what you make it with.
