Man I miss fishing the gulf coast inland fisheries. I grew up in texas city born in Galveston raised in texas. City graduated from texas city high school go strings. Joined the us army 19 delta cavalry scouts. Hoorah. Love your channel bro . Keep your lines tight bro and be safe out there SEMPER FI .bro .
Been there a couple of times. Great area for reds and flounder! I could only access the marsh area by walking the tracks. Wish I had a kayak! Great video man!
I still make the walk occasionally. I used to walk it back in like 2001 when there weren't many kayaks. Theres alot of yakers on the bay side but not many on other. Reds everywhere and rattlesnakes lol. Ive literally seen schools with over 100 reds on many occasions. I would sight fish exclusively unless tide is really high.
I just rigged up my newest rod and reel (TFO ML w/Diawa Coastal SV) with 8 lb braid and 17 pound leader and I was wondering if I went too light. But you just confirmed that it’ll be OK by saying what your setup is. Nice!
Marsh mud is crazy soft and stinks ridiculously bad. I wouldn't consider wading in waters where there's a strong possibility of sinking waist deep. Especially when a lot of them host alligators.
Great video man! Solid reds. For the price of these GoPros man they really need to fix that issue and the sound on the media mods. Maybe find the smallest size portable battery and somehow attach it the the hat.
That’s what I was going to do until my secondary camera overheated with an external battery. Now I’ll just film with one camera angle and give each camera a rest.

Just saw it’s a 9 in the description. I’m looking at picking up another GoPro and I think I am going to stay with the 7. I’ve had minimal issues with it.
Hey Mark, You where right about the Old Town Predator situation availability. I am really interested in one to test drive so if I find one my decision would be made to purchase. I talked to ACK and they could not tell me anything about when or if they will get them. A test drive is completely out of reality. Thanks for your information and help. Thanks Brother! Is there anyways u can use some type of light weight insulation material u could perhaps build a pouch 2 keep it from over heating so fast
