- TenZ was once the face of Valorant.
He was an unstoppable, universally beloved prodigy who rose from the ashes of a messy CS:GO career to unparalleled stardom in Valorant.
But as quickly as he climbed to the top, he fell. TenZ was blamed for every Sentinels loss, the target of endless criticism.
So he did what he does best. He got to work and proved to everyone that he's still the king of Valorant.

I honestly can't fathom the hate this man gets. The love from fans is undoubtedly freakin insane as well, no question about that but tomorrow, god forbid, if they end up losing one match or even one map, watch the hate he'll get again. idk why its so hard for these irons and bronzes to understand that everyone has a bad day, month or year/ years. He already has established himself as the val king, and no one can dethrone him. The amount of "TENZs" I encounter daily in my ranked games is enough proof of that, his name's tied to valorant and insanity, and no one can counter that. So just give the respect the man deserves cuz that's the least u can do.
Same happens with Faker, its the cost of being the greatest.

@@ahmeddrazaI don’t disagree but a part of that reason is because of tenz.. even when he wasn’t the best player, his name still holds weight, especially marketing wise.. Tenz is the face of valorant, and it is a main reason why they kept him, business wise not just skill
TenZ’s omen is so sick to watch. He still plays extremely aggressively on it, getting the second most first bloods after Zekken. His quick thinking from his duelist days translates to quick on the fly util and smokes to set up his team. he’s helping pioneer a new wave of aggressive smoke players and i can’t wait to see him play more

Ppl calling TenZ a bad duelist are dumb, his performance was always consistent as a duelist, why is he thriving in the smoke role? because he knows what a duelist really needs and he is also playing other roles that really have a secondary duelist role with flashes, smokes and such. As a duelist he just needed someone to know what util he really needed to be the best duelist. But results matter the most 4Head

Been a Tenz fan since Cloud 9 and I never doubted my GOAT!!!
At first Tenz exceeded everyone in Valo but when they caught up he didn't know how to exceed them again, I've been there duelist only and turn off brain and just aim and that got me to nothing I was hard stuck gold but when I took a break for about 5-6 months I had aim better than ever and had tactics to each agents I pick.
He just needed to find his way
I believe that the best Valorant player in the world must be a flex player like Tenz or Forsaken. Being a duelist will rely on your teammates and IGL setup but being a flex means you can create those opportunities by yourself by filling the gap needed from your team.
I’ve never seen a player completely change their entire own playstyle. Just a complete rebirth. Adaptation and evolution is key

While I've been a TenZ fan from the beginning and loved this video. I think I speak for the majority when I say we need a Zellsis story. The Bundle Merchant!
TenZ is basically the game, Valorant, itself..... him and the game evolves, the meta, the agents, etc. He never fell off
Was waiting for this for so long.
TenZ did amazing, and proved to SEN that he was worth waiting and keeping in the long run. Many teams would've dropped a player that was MIA for the multiple reasons TenZ was gone from the team (injury, personal issues, etc), but SEN still held a spot for him when he came back; and that by itself is a story worth telling.

TLDR: He learned how to play with a team instead of playing like a solo player. He has leveled the absolute fuck up and deserves the recognition.

Tenz has always been a top duelist in my opinion, he can get it started and wipe the floor in order for his team to go in their way. The problem is that his team would watch on his back and his tempo of game being so aggressive they have problem of whether covering each other's back or going in for objective, in which most of the time it will come altogether and they found themselves getting flanked left and right. I always watched him play Valorant and for me he is one of the best. I don't understand the blame.
Recall how zombs used to be the exemplary support player and everyone praised him for his selflessness and tenz demonstrated that now. Gosh the nostalgia.

Every player on that team deserves their story to be told to be honest. Also even though Tenz is playing in a support role my guy is still fragging out like crazy. He is providing support with perfect timing while pulling out frags from a bad position. He is HIM and He is very much indeed BACK

IMO TenZ really hasn't taken that much of a "backseat" since he's probably the most aggressive controller pro in Americas. He also does a lot of tp entries with Zekken and just general aggressive plays.
Masters 3 Berlin is by far my favorite tournament and champions 2021. It’s all because of one EMEA team who dominated everyone. That would be Gambit. Sheydos, Chronical, D3ffo, Redgar, and nAts. I wish they were still on their own team because they had the potential to push valorant to the extreme.
Congrats on Tenz for reclaiming his crown and redeeming himself to be the best player again. I also love sentinels for the huge comeback.

The grand finals at Masters Maps 1-4 did not go below 13-8 for the team that lost. Gen.G were equally as good. It all went down to who truly wanted to win. Zellsis turned up and ultimately proved he is part of the roster not just there
