Flagship carrier of EL AL between 1987-1994
Final day of operations:November 26th, 2012, flying as LY323/324 TLV-CDG-TLV.
All were powered by 2 Rolls Royce RB211-535-E4 engines.
Last aircraft was flown to Arizona for scrapping in January 2013.
Farewell, pencil jet...My favorite of them all.

Another moment that every planespotter dreads; the fall of one of an airline's aircraft. This is sad because the 757 is my favorite aircraft but very soon the 757 was my favorite aircraft. We have to accept what is happening and break through all the challenges we face. From me to El Al's 757s I thank you for your continued service to El Al. Rest in Peace. We will miss you :(
