Airy mustve been uninterested in his waiting room :( (2024 Edit, I meant the “True” empty room, when an object lacks a purpose or passion. In airy’s case, it turned to the plane because he found that passion).
I love how Liam’s first attempt at reaching Stone’s frequency has him ask “Is that a 5 or a 6?” and then he’s actually just one digit off because he put “…5862575…” (third line in the middle) instead of “…5862675…” (fourth line in the middle)
Yea and also that’s sad how he got the almost correct number immediately but it’s ALMOST correct beacuse it would be really hard to get all the digits right
Someone pointed this out on twt, but theres a lot of imagery relating to cars with stella. At the start, the camera zooms into bryce crashing two toy cars against eachother, and when bryce dies, stella is always standing in the middle of the road. I was thinking about how in one 13 bryce got so angry at liam, i mean of course its reasonable for him to be mad at him for crashing his car, but was it necessary to literally shove him face down into the water? But what if. What if Stella died in a car accident. thats why the part of bryce playing with the cars lingers so long. Thats why stella is always in the middle of the road. Thats why bryce got so angry at liam for crashing his car.
the fact that bryce's sister , Stella i believe her name is, probably died in a car accident, getting hit by a car makes me so sad, I love her sm she seems like an amazing big sister, just the way she's standing on the road, in the afterlife, and the way baby bryce was playing with his cars, IM SAD NOW GOODBYE
WAIT- the radio had the letters “UM” on it, and this episode is called “Universe Modulation”! FM and AM stand for Frequency Modulation and amplitude modulation respectively, so that’s where this episodes name comes from! Just something I noticed :D
This series really isn't just about an object show anymore.. it's a show about the life of the objects and the universes they live in.. it also feels relatable and Season 2 just feels like a different series entirely.. I like it! I wonder if Texty could kill Stone or the eliminated contestants.. and could they get to Airy's world using the universal radio...?
So, this is what I know so far: *The deathroom isn't just exclusive to Airy's show, but is a deathroom for everyone. *The appearance of the deathroom is different for everyone in it: Liam see's it as an endless void, Bryce see's it as his neighborhood, and Texty see's it as "the puppy room." It could mean that the deathroom takes appearance of the viewer's desires. I don't know why Liam's is a bit uneventful, though. *Cryptid Pickle mentions that the deathroom may also show the person you lost and want back. This idea is proven by the gemstone seeing "Jasmine," and also by Bryce seeing his sister. So, it doesn't just represent your desires, but can also manifest them. *Every deathroom, regardless of what everyone sees, will always have two chairs, a table, and a radio on top of it. *Stone is not the only one of his kind. At the end of the video, the stones had eyes, which means that every stone in that world IS a stoney. This could mean two things: >Stone is able to gain information about everything because he's everywhere: Every stone you see is him, and they're all like a hivemind. >Stone is stone, and is not connected to a hivemind. His knowledge might be unique to him, or his people have the same knowledge too.
Liam vision of the room could be because he has no motivation other that to stop airy and has nothing left. Edit: I simplicity my explanation since I over complicated a bit.
liam did say in episode 13 that he really doesnt have anything to care for anymore so that might be why he sees it as empty. it could also symbolize that he doesnt have anyone that he really cares about since in bryce's pov he could see stella (who might be his sister who he cares about).
Something very interesting that I noticed, in the opening scene we see a handful of people running away, presumably towards a person or a thing like we see with the guy running after a “Jasmine”. Now, we see that this room is also trying to get Bryce to run away towards his sister, Stella, however the only reason he isn’t is because he’s being held back by Liam. What I wanted to bring up is that Liam is not being presented anything, there’s no person trying to lure him away. My current theory is that, like Liam said in the previous episode, his life has pretty much ended, practically having nothing else to live for anymore, resulting in nothing or no one he could trust being able to lure him. Then again, if the room really wanted to lure him away, why not present Stone? Yep, that’s all I have to say.
I think texty killed someone else; when she first put in the kill command, nothing happened and she said "oops" before trying again. I think she may have killed one of the other contestants and we'll see them next episode for a bit before Airy revives them
A neat little detail I just noticed after rewatching is that when we get the shot at 3:38 of both the paper and the radio station there are actually some numbers that are incorrect on the station. It’s really cool the cheesy adds little details like those, it makes it more fun to rewatch the episodes since you always notice something new!
even if the scene didnt last very long, it gave a pretty good idea on his childhood. im guessing his older sister might’ve been more of a mother figure through his life since im guessing his mother didnt pay much attention 2 them
Here's hoping that wherever Bryce can go in his vision he can come back from. Can't wait for the next episode!! Hopefully they'll be able to find stone, or.. they already have and they've just turned a blind eye.
(ONE 16 Spoiler) On 8:19, Texty seems to have misentered the command and retries the command, which implies they killed someone else on the website with kill code. And I think the kill code killed Moldy on ONE 16. Of course it could be the worsened mold instead, and it's quite irrelevent to the story. But I think it would be a quite interesting link between episodes, something Cheesy would like to make I assume. (And yes, Folder died in ONE 16 too, but we could clearly see they were killed by instead.)
OHHH i always thought that was airy, especially because when we look at the contestants in the plane I always it's what's happening after Bryce and Liam did whatever happened the episode before
Another theory: the stones’ eyes at the end might symbolize they know where Stone is, with them, and Bryce, Liam, and Texty took a wrong turn, also, I’m glad Texty is being given more of a personality in the latest episodes, great episode as always!
This is the best “object show series” I’ve ever watched. From the unsettling yet unique announcer, to the exploration of where objects go when they die, to straying entirely from the path a normal object show would usually follow, this is really something never seen before. Keep up the great work y’all. :)
alternate title: liam experiences dyslexia (2022, colorized) jokes aside i'm so excited that everything is starting to get uncovered! (spoilers below; random theory rambles below lol) > what seems to be the interpretation of death (referred to as "the puppy room" by texty) in this episode is very interesting and bittersweet to think about. i believe this room represents that "middle line" between life and death, kind of like that of "near-death experiences" or that saying of "seeing your life flash before your eyes". it makes sense why everyone sees this room differently; and walking toward whatever focal point you had in your life is essentially "walking into the light". interesting how liam does not have anything to walk to, however. > in a more extreme sense, this room could also be taken as literally "meeting God". this room is ambiguous to everyone's lives, and the radio can be tuned to any place in the world, like that of how God can see everything. with this in mind though, it begs the question of why airy has his own tuning number on the radio. this could probably imply that there are more beings above airy, and that airy somehow has access to these different universes (this would also correspond with how abstracty was still somehow capable of nearly mimicking what seems to be "airy"). however it's still unsure. > this thought is kinda just random, but it'd be funny to imagine that airy is really just some extreme hacker lol. it would possibly explain how he is able to infiltrate these various universes, and why there is code regarding the contestants on the website. > (edit) also just realized that the only requirement to access this afterlife room is by death. this means that liam and bryce didn't necessarily have to go to the smokestack and get electrocuted, and could have died by some other method, but there may be a reason for this. that's all i had in mind, thank you if you read all of this mess lol really can't wait for ONE 15!
This is such a good theory! I love how this object shows has so many strange things happening, it just works so well! You did a great job on this, I'm excited to see what will happen on the next episode
I guess getting electrocuted may have done something to the computer texty lives in, but I don't have any ideas how else it could be significant. Guess we'll have to wait..
The electrocution could probably be so they avoid being thought as "dead by suicide" and more like an "accidentally illegally climbed a smokestack while it was conveniently in a thunderstorm"
Theory: everyone sees the room in a different way but backpack and toothpaste only sees it as what it is because they died in the plane and everyone else sees something that wants them to "follow the light" as everyone runs towards it in the beginning and bryce keeps also wanting to follow it and the radio stations are just a way to get out of their but to another universe. explaining why toothpaste is not their anymore because he is somewhere else now because he has nothing to follow. Short form: They are in limbo, everyone sees it as a different way of "following the light" with confirming death at the end of the tunnel, but those who die on the plane see it only as what it actually is and radio is a multiverse teleporter that is always there. Edit: liam also sees it as its true form due to a difference in his kill/death code that was in the plane's database code so it still can be because he died in the plane. Also with toothpaste, he was the only one who died in one's first season before it was cancelled and the look in his eyes is enough to say he sees the real form.
@@nigellim9729 actually that is a REALLY good point but she is revived almost instantly and another thing to point out is soda bottle never dies from that so my theory can still hold up.
theory: the waiting room is perceived differently by everyone, and it’s based off of memories of such person. An example is: Bryce sees the waiting room as his where we grew up in his childhood, while texty sees it as “the puppy room” due to liking memes and animals (in ONE 13 texty was watching a video of a cat on a Roomba) however I only have two possible theories for backpacks representation of the waiting room: 1: the endless void of his perception of the waiting room could mean something to him 2: he was one of the only people who saw the “true waiting room” in the planes, which is why he still sees the waiting room like an endless void.
I like ur 2nd theory but it has some flaws, like scenty. She died in the plain so that means when liam told her what he say she would be like oh I saw that too, so I think ur first theory makes the most sense
@@holap2104 yeah. I’m not really concerned on the waiting room right now, because it’s simple enough to put together. Something I want to know is who or what SF is. If it’s a “who” I’m guessing SF would be that weird final abstracty imitation, and if it’s a “what” I’m guessing it’s San Francisco. I have no idea though.
Think it might be what is the persons incentive so like for most people wanting to return to love ones or like texty wanting to just watch puppy videos but I’m not really sure about Liam’s
heres a few things i think i got: 1. the 'deathroom', as people are calling it, is different for everyone and how one sees it depends fully on their interpretation of the afterlife, or simply a better time. for soda bottle, those better times were his childhood. with backpack, its either because he has nothing to live for and therefore cant comprehend a better time, or its because being at peace with himself(in episode 6 we saw him being just that, at peace)is his interpretation of the afterlife. 2. after someone runs off into their afterlife, they disappear and enter it, rendering it completely impossible for two or more people in their own afterlives to interact with eachother. the only reason texty, backpack and soda bottle can still interact with eachother is because they havent entered their afterlife. 3. there are two notes with frequencies on them, SF and STONE. what the trio(backpack, texty and soda bottle) went to was the radio station in the STONE note. so i can only imagine that they will try going to SF in the next episode. 4. the SF note obviously means San Fransisco, where backpack lives. i assume that means that the frequency on SF means that that is the frequency to their home universe. 5. the title of the video - Universe Modulation - refers to two, or now three different 'modulations' that a radio uses or can use. first, theres FM. standing for Frequency Modulation. secondly, theres Amplitude Modulation. and finally, this is what the title refers to: UM, Universe Modulation. we know its called UM, and that its true because when we get a close up of the screen on the radio, we can clearly see 'UM' in the top left. this also supports the SF note theory on number 4, because that means every universe has its own unique frequency, including their own. i am left with a few questions though: 1. what is the first universe? or in other words, what is on 0.1 UM? 2. what is the last universe? judging by the sensitivity of the knob, that should mean that the sensitivity should be calculable by doing some equation with the first universe, 0.1 UM and the last universe, x UM. (x because we dont know what the last one is), but this theory is debunked if there is an infinite amount of universes, it needs to be finite for it to work. 3. why the heck was there a crowd of panicking people after the whole 'soda bottle backstory' thing was over? i get that about 60 million people die every year, amounting to roughly 6845 people dying every hour if i did the math correctly, but then why did no other people 'spawn' in the deathroom after the crowd dispersed? shouldnt another crowd spawn in after some time?
For the last question, i think I came up with something. You see, I'm pretty sure there's 'universes' with a deathroom each where different people appear. It's the same death room (by that I mean how people view it) but it only appears people if they are from THAT or IS in that universe. That's why we can see the weird green guy with them after the 3 (or 4, counting Texty) died. Dunno if I explained myself well, but I tried 🤷
holy hell. this episode felt so surreal. even though this just came out i cant wait for one 15. i have SO many questions. like why is the waiting room portrayed different for everyone? why does the way liam see look so.. empty? what did julien see? i wonder how long they're gonna be in there, how are they gonna get out? did they get out? also, what does this mean for their physical bodies? are they passed out in the real world? im so excited for one 15 ALSO!! this part ( 6:11 ) is so bittersweet to me. bryce genuinely looks distressed as he tries to reach out for stella and he's obviously so tired of this but liam takes him away to go try again and bryce's face is so cute but it makes me so miserable at the same time... ihave such a soft spot for him
Also in that timestamp i have a theory: those people that are near a campfire are the same type of humans that were in contact lens’s and subway chair’s world where humans ruled the earth. They are also seen to have white skin like in the montage of the items getting teleported from their universe to airy’s place
5:09 something about “The Scooping Room” is just so absolutely perfect. It’s enough for you to kind of figure out what it means but still leaves you looking for answers you’ll never get. Judging by that guy’s reaction though it doesn’t sound pretty. Also the fact that Bryce and Liam merely showing up by him lead to his death is pretty grim.
EDIT: At 4:50 there's some muffled noise that also sounds like it might be in reverse? Can anyone make this out? So all of those stones were alive, sentient, and cursed not only with the knowledge of everything that has, is, and will happen in the entire universe, but the inability to speak it, or communicate to any of the other stones that they are alive. Do they have arms and legs like the stone we know? Or are they just stuck as rocks, with no senses, no way of moving, just cursed to exist here, with all the others, with nothing to do but... _know?_ ...That's horrific. Also, the Puppy Room seems to get people to move on and into oblivion by luring them with visions of whatever will get them to come. But Liam doesn't see anything... Why? Is it because he has nothing? Nobody to love, no possessions to want? Did Julien see anything? Or was he like Liam? Why? WHY!? Also also, we see Liam take a piece of the tape out of himself - presumably to remind us that it's still in there, and it's still relevant.
I loved this episode and I love how it's portrayed differently for different people! It does make me wonder though- why is Liam’s blank? I think it’s case there’s just nothing extraordinary in his life. When he came back he wasn’t at all concerned about his friends or family, his only purpose now was to take down Airy
I noticed that Bryce, and the orange gemstone at the beginning, both seemed to be remembering good parts of their lives, so this could mean that you're correct, which actually sounds pretty reasonable, but I also thought maybe it's because Liam never had any good parts of his life, depending on what that might mean to you. I'm also excited to see other character's past lives, and how they relate to the plot.
Every death in this episode: 1. suffocated by a bear 2. Scooping room? 3. Alien shoots laser blasters to death 4. Crushed by Cheesy Hfj cubes 5. YAY CAMP FIRE!!! (Burned to death) 6. Forst bite? 7. No air (suffocating in space) 8. Delete 9. YAY CAMP FIRE#2!!! (Burned to death) 10. Lava 11. Squished? 12. Acid 13. Getting kidnapped and shot? 14. Bryce commits suicide by stabbing a poll into himself but Liam uhhhhhh??? 15. ??? 16. Die command All the deaths in the episode: 75 deaths? About that (Including the people at first, the sheep and that green man) All the deaths in the series: 80 deaths? I think Please like, i spent 20 minutes to make this
I feel like there’s two separate waiting rooms/death rooms. One for the plane which Airy made/deliberately chooses, and one for.. the world Liam, Bryce and Texty comes from. That could mean there’s a different “death room” for each universe, that just acts the same. It could explain why we don’t see Julien/Toothpaste in the one we see here, or how we don’t see another one of the objects at the beginning again. It might be a stretch, but it might explain why Liam’s perspective of the room was empty. The Plane might have done some weird things and just made it so it’s stuck like that. It also might even be why Liam seemed so content in episode 6- similar to how we act in a dream. We see something unusual and impossible, think “oh cool” and walk off. (EDIT) Another thing I thought about, though feel less confident in, is that Airy somehow got ahold of the waiting room and made it so he could control it. If the waiting room really wants to lure you away somewhere else, Airy might have made it so that it wouldn’t do that for people who died on the plane so he could recover them later. Probably like a switch that he turns off whenever eliminating someone. Seeing as how Airy had a 7 month absence before eliminating Liam, he could have just forgotten to do it (probably because he was still in pain lol) or somehow lost the ability to control the waiting room.
sry i accidentally disliked I was also just thinking the same thing, however, when they travel to different universes they come back to the same "Waiting room." I wonder if each person has a room of death assigned to them, sort of like an OBJECT in CODE. I've noticed a few references to code throughout the series, like the "It's no code!" quote and the Kill command, so I just wanted to say that.
@@username_not_found6926 That would be really cool and interesting, and I could sort of see happening. Though, the green guy (Tony) got transferred into the same waiting room along with Liam and Bryce, so that is what made me believe they are going into different versions of the waiting room. I do hope that there will be more code-related stuff in the show- it’s fun and interesting to theorize about.
this episode was AMAZING!! slight spoilers The way everyone saw something different depending on who they were was SO COOL!! I wonder why they see different things tho. i have a couple thoughts but eh im not sure!
I think a part of the Pubby Room as Texty calls it is a sorta thing where a """victim""" goes into The Pubby Room (which is supposedly the afterlife in this universe. That's proved by the /kill command bringing Liam, Texty and Bryce to The Pubby Room.) And a loved one (Like Bryce's relative.) will encourage the victim to come with them. We don't know what happens when they follow as we never saw Bryce follow their loved one (probably by Liam forcing him back to the radio) but I think it's either a fate worse than death, or a peace sorta thing if we assume The Pubby Room is more like purgatory. Allowing the victim to go into the ACTUAL afterlife either way. Considering ONE. It's probably pretty bad.
Holy shit, this episode was something else. I cannot believe it ends on another cliffhanger GOD DAMMIT CHEESY ITS TOO GOOD Like man, this episode was so chaotic, I was basically just staring in shock when Bryce and liam were in "the puppy room" (as texty likes to call it lol) and then just was confusingly laughing at the hilarious universe trip montage. And then when they got to stones world I was so excited, it was so weird and mysterious and like, IT WAS SO GOOD. I cannot wait for one 15!!!!
liam's room is empty because airy took everything from him on the radio, the station is UM, which stands for Universe Modulator everyone has a different room based on their lives the stones at the end of the video all know the truth because they have eyes
i just had a CRAZY theory rn- what if maybe, all this places they get teleported through the radio stations might be each of someone's wishes or something they always wanted, wich could mean that where Airy is is where he always wanted, wich is, being a powerful being and a host of a object show. i could be wrong but it kinda makes sense. especially when in there you can see places you wish you were at, just like Bryce or that crystal guy.
Not gonna lie, stone probably intended to meet up with them so he could have made them go here so texty could figure out the kill switch thing so in turn to kill stone accidentaly and transfer them to the waiting room.
YOOO, this is great! Alright, theory time (I guess). So, the 'afterlife' is different for everyone. Each has some way of attracting/keeping a specific occupant away from the 'radio', so to speak, and that radio seems to have the ability to revive the user into a specific universe, referencing the title. There are three notes, one with SF, one with Airy and one with Stone. We've already seen the code for stone's world works correctly. Based on what I've seen, however, I believe that the code for 'Airy' can take Bryce and Liam back to the plane, while 'SF' can take them back to real life, though not to Bridgeport - to San Francisco, likely to the bridge Backpack was previously on back when he was teleported from San Francisco. One major odd thing to me is how/why Backpack doesn't really have anything lulling him away from the radio like everyone else does. It might be because of the fact that he doesn't really have anything that'd be able to lure him away from the radio. The way death seems to be portrayed in general is unique, and I can't wait to watch the next episode!
Now this is an interesting episode. The wild goose chase has hit a wall, and Bryce is seeing his childhood. Anyway, I have no clue what that thing is, it’s as if it wants Bryce out of there, yet it’s weird Liam doesn’t see it. Also why do the stones at the end have eyes-
4:29 oh boy oh boy oh boy! this episode of liam going through traumatic events is probably the craziest yet! and i dont think i even have to explain how!
one of my favorite things of this show so far was "the waiting room" (aka apparently the radio room) scene with the toothpaste. im so glad its back and actually explained now. the episodes just keep getting better, love this one!
7:53 it seems the first argument in this function is a class object and is labelled "history" (which is weird, maybe it’s a character’s history in the ONE competition, idk tbh). The memory argument seems to be a boolean value (judging by the function itself). There are many parts cut out on the conditional statements, but it also seems that the author made a typo in the return command. Based on the context, the return line should say "return choice, kill", not "return command, kill", because command is an undeclared variable (either that or it’s a global variable, but that doesn’t seem to make sense for this function). The way Texty could execute their death commands is by running this code: _command([specific history object for a character], true)_ , which may be passed to another variable or perhaps to another function.
@@kzh3850 Yeah, that check is really weird, perhaps it’s some sort of a range (second element to last element). It probably isn’t even Python code, but some other made up language that looks similar.
Bit by bit, this show becomes less of a show to compete, But slowly it has more of a meaning to it. More of a backstory. Its MORE than a competition now. Its a mystery.
every one episode gives me so much axniety i cant even explain it but like ykno when theyre uncomfortable or upset and they get that eyewrinkle, thats me everytime i watch an episode of one 5:15 bryce is me when i watch one, i love it i like this axniety
One of the notes has a frequency that leads to Airy. Does that mean they could possibly get back to the Plane and/or find out who Airy truly is next episode? Another note with the frequency number has SF on it, which I think stands for San Francisco. Could that be their way back home?
WAIT. I JUST REALIZED. THE JUNK THAT LIAM PULLED OUT FROM INSIDE HIMSELF AT 2:55 ARE SOME OF THE PARTS NEAR THE PLUG IN EPISODE 8 THAT HE PUT INSIDE HIMSELF.
3:52 This sound is almost exactly like the one in the ONE teaser trailer (when Magazine goes to The Plane)! I’m convinced that the “Airy” sticky note’s number is for going to The Plane and the “SF” one is for San Fransisco.
I wonder if airy found out that the plane has it's own waiting room, because we didn't see the French guy there, and was able to bring people back knowing the waiting room exists, and somehow using "universe modulation"? And maybe that explains why liam sees it as it truly is, because he was one of the ones who died while in the plane, and maybe the waiting room in the plane is different somehow and doesn't conform to the specific person. So because he knows what it looks like, that's how he sees the afterlife now. Some big orange room with 2 chairs, a table, and a UM radio (don't think it does FM)
I think the toothpaste finally guessed the correct frequency so he can go back to the real world. He spent over a decade guessing and was so fed up with going to wrong worlds and dying over and over
Minor spoilers ahead: I believe the place they're seeing is their comfort place, Soda bottle's being in his childhood neighborhood, Texty's being in a video of puppies playing, referencing them watching kittens earlier on in the series, stone being in a world full of stone since their foresight wouldn't cause them any distress due to the world being impossible to harm since everyone is the same, even the gem from 1:18 trying to get in contact with "Jasmine" possibly his child or someone of that level of importance to him, but one thing I don't get is why Backpacks comfort place is an empty room with a radio
I devised a theory on one of my comments. I said: I think the fact that the dead objects go to their family in the afterlife is a resemblance to Toothpaste & Liam. They had no family. Nor really a life. Because they see what the place really is. Blankness. Nowhere. They have no one to be with.
"Will you forget the stupid pioneers! Have you ever noticed that there are none of them left!? That's because they were lousy hitchhikers, ate coral, and took directions from algae! And now you're telling me, that they could DRIVE- 6:14 rocks...?"
I don’t know if everyone knows this but every universe has its own waiting room. That’s why when you die in ONE universe you see Julien but when you died in Earth you see other people.
For this whole day I been listening to the ONE soundtrack and also wondering when the next episode will come out, I got really happy seeing the notification for this, great episode!
The waiting room for Liam always looks plain and empty, while for Bryce it shows his sister and his street. However, when Bryce starts to get more curious about ONE, The Waiting Room changes to look like what Liam sees. I believe this is because Bryce has no regrets when entering the waiting room. Bryce’s loved one was there to try to guide him to the afterlife. The reason why Liam’s looked all boring was because he had 1 regret. ONE. Once Bryce started to get more into figuring out what ONE is, The Waiting Room changes cause he now has a regret, which is ONE.
0:33 idk if this was on purpose but it looks like Bryce's sister is holding Magazine from the first season of ONE. As the design shares a similar look to the Magazine we know.
I’m so confused at this point whys this so good??? It just has me sitting there after the episode ends wondering what just happened and I am literally so happy I found this. Everything is just so well made man
In the ending frame, all the stones have eyes, implying they all have the ability to be aware of everything that has and will happen like the stone in one.
1:17 Why is it so crowded? Are there waiting rooms for different dimensions perhaps? Then, why did Liam see Julien again switching through radio stations when Texty used the "kill command"? Does the command only apply to the contestants? 5:04 TONY!!!! 5:10 NO, NOT THE SCOOPING ROOM!!!! ANYTHING BUT THAT!!!!! 5:26 DEATH MONTAGE!!! ✨✨✨ 7:44 Kill eachother using the rocks- or Stone's family if that's ok for him..
I saw the notification for this episode and I immediately grabbed my headphones, plugged them in, and watched it But I gotta say this episode left off on an even bigger cliffhanger than the last and this makes me very angry lol Edit: also I love the way Liam says “I think the lightning struck us both dead” so casually and apathetically as if it’s not a big deal that they literally died Edit 2: also am I the only one who kinda feels bad for Bryce? Like, he didn’t ask for any of this. He has specifically stated before that he didn’t want to be a part of this. In this episode it feels like he’s only trying to work with Liam so he can get out of this place and go back to his life.
a little theory: in ONE 9 when liam is flipping through the notes that stone gave him and there is a radio number for stone which teleports you to stones place, but theres also a radio number for airy (4837895641361081574867455100523523993246453827549716928.3) (and also a radio number for sf but thats not important to the theory) what im saying is if they put in airys radio number (which im sure they will do next episode) they might get teleported back to the plane. hope you like the theory (btw i was watching ONE 9 when i came up with this) (also, im not sure if someone has already made this theory once so if youre that person dont say im stealing cause im not.) (also i put airys radio number just incase you forgot i also dont know why youd wanna remember but its too late now and i already put it) Edit: i also think they will teleport to where airy ACTUALLY is like where hes broadcasting the show.
This episode was very interesting! 1. We got to learn a little more about Bryce/Soda Bottle 2. They went into different universes 😱 Although, I have questions too 1. Why doesn’t Liam/Backpack see his comfort zone like Bryce and Texty? 2. Is Texty gonna die soon because of her battery? 3. Do the other stones know? (Since, at the end, their eyes were showing [aka at 8:26 ]) Guess we will have to see next episode
I think it's a comfort place more than the past, Bryce's is his old neighbourhood, texty's is a vid of puppies and kittens and Liam's is the actual waiting room for some reason.
I feel like the reason Liam has nothing in his version of the waiting room place may be because he saw the presumed dead poster in one of the previous episodes. Everyone thinks he’s dead (most everyone) and he’s basically homeless, so he just has an empty space. He doesn’t have anywhere to go or do anything, no people to see
If the waiting room really shows everyone what they love or appreciate, then I'm very sad to think that Liam has an empty room.

"those are some very weird objects"
So, this is what I know so far:
*The deathroom isn't just exclusive to Airy's show, but is a deathroom for everyone.
This could mean two things:
>Stone is able to gain information about everything because he's everywhere: Every stone you see is him, and they're all like a hivemind.
>Stone is stone, and is not connected to a hivemind. His knowledge might be unique to him, or his people have the same knowledge too.
Liam vision of the room could be because he has no motivation other that to stop airy and has nothing left.
Edit: I simplicity my explanation since I over complicated a bit.
the question is why does liam see it as that
i think liams desire is to find out who airy is?
Because Liam has no dreams. Nothing to really live for.
liam did say in episode 13 that he really doesnt have anything to care for anymore so that might be why he sees it as empty. it could also symbolize that he doesnt have anyone that he really cares about since in bryce's pov he could see stella (who might be his sister who he cares about).
But Liam doesn’t really care about stone, he just wants him for information doesn’t he?
Because stone isnt really a "trusted" person, stone just...exists to him.
Maybe the room doesn't WANT Liam to move on.
The room should’ve presented Amelia. How does Liam not care about her?
And Texty sees it as a puppy room because funny internet videos!
I think texty killed someone else; when she first put in the kill command, nothing happened and she said "oops" before trying again. I think she may have killed one of the other contestants and we'll see them next episode for a bit before Airy revives them

jokes aside i'm so excited that everything is starting to get uncovered! (spoilers below; random theory rambles below lol)
> what seems to be the interpretation of death (referred to as "the puppy room" by texty) in this episode is very interesting and bittersweet to think about. i believe this room represents that "middle line" between life and death, kind of like that of "near-death experiences" or that saying of "seeing your life flash before your eyes". it makes sense why everyone sees this room differently; and walking toward whatever focal point you had in your life is essentially "walking into the light". interesting how liam does not have anything to walk to, however.
> in a more extreme sense, this room could also be taken as literally "meeting God". this room is ambiguous to everyone's lives, and the radio can be tuned to any place in the world, like that of how God can see everything. with this in mind though, it begs the question of why airy has his own tuning number on the radio. this could probably imply that there are more beings above airy, and that airy somehow has access to these different universes (this would also correspond with how abstracty was still somehow capable of nearly mimicking what seems to be "airy"). however it's still unsure.
> this thought is kinda just random, but it'd be funny to imagine that airy is really just some extreme hacker lol. it would possibly explain how he is able to infiltrate these various universes, and why there is code regarding the contestants on the website.
> (edit) also just realized that the only requirement to access this afterlife room is by death. this means that liam and bryce didn't necessarily have to go to the smokestack and get electrocuted, and could have died by some other method, but there may be a reason for this.
that's all i had in mind, thank you if you read all of this mess lol
really can't wait for ONE 15!
How are you supposed to convince a desperate man and a perfectly fine, sane man to commit suicide?
Also it was probably to kill texty to.
Yeah they didn't want to die intentionally, but Stone made them die unexpectedly
Short form:
They are in limbo, everyone sees it as a different way of "following the light" with confirming death at the end of the tunnel, but those who die on the plane see it only as what it actually is and radio is a multiverse teleporter that is always there.
Edit: liam also sees it as its true form due to a difference in his kill/death code that was in the plane's database code so it still can be because he died in the plane. Also with toothpaste, he was the only one who died in one's first season before it was cancelled and the look in his eyes is enough to say he sees the real form.
That would be actually sad, imagine backpack being the only one that knows what's happening while everyone has visions of their happiness
didn't soda bottle and backpack both die in the same place? why do they both see something different?
@@cudroid Because the plane shows the limbo as its real form, out of human's comprehension
Would that mean Amelia would see the room as it is too since she died all the way back in episode 1?
@@nigellim9729 actually that is a REALLY good point but she is revived almost instantly and another thing to point out is soda bottle never dies from that so my theory can still hold up.
theory: the waiting room is perceived differently by everyone, and it’s based off of memories of such person. An example is: Bryce sees the waiting room as his where we grew up in his childhood, while texty sees it as “the puppy room” due to liking memes and animals (in ONE 13 texty was watching a video of a cat on a Roomba) however I only have two possible theories for backpacks representation of the waiting room:
1: the endless void of his perception of the waiting room could mean something to him
2: he was one of the only people who saw the “true waiting room” in the planes, which is why he still sees the waiting room like an endless void.
Or maybe liam just wants peace and that’s what the room symbolizes
@@SimAnim8s I mean he is trying to stop airy so people can live peacefully so yeah that could also be correct
Think it might be what is the persons incentive so like for most people wanting to return to love ones or like texty wanting to just watch puppy videos but I’m not really sure about Liam’s
heres a few things i think i got:
1. the 'deathroom', as people are calling it, is different for everyone and how one sees it depends fully on their interpretation of the afterlife, or simply a better time. for soda bottle, those better times were his childhood. with backpack, its either because he has nothing to live for and therefore cant comprehend a better time, or its because being at peace with himself(in episode 6 we saw him being just that, at peace)is his interpretation of the afterlife.
2. after someone runs off into their afterlife, they disappear and enter it, rendering it completely impossible for two or more people in their own afterlives to interact with eachother. the only reason texty, backpack and soda bottle can still interact with eachother is because they havent entered their afterlife.
3. there are two notes with frequencies on them, SF and STONE. what the trio(backpack, texty and soda bottle) went to was the radio station in the STONE note. so i can only imagine that they will try going to SF in the next episode.
4. the SF note obviously means San Fransisco, where backpack lives. i assume that means that the frequency on SF means that that is the frequency to their home universe.
5. the title of the video - Universe Modulation - refers to two, or now three different 'modulations' that a radio uses or can use. first, theres FM. standing for Frequency Modulation. secondly, theres Amplitude Modulation. and finally, this is what the title refers to: UM, Universe Modulation. we know its called UM, and that its true because when we get a close up of the screen on the radio, we can clearly see 'UM' in the top left. this also supports the SF note theory on number 4, because that means every universe has its own unique frequency, including their own.
i am left with a few questions though:
1. what is the first universe? or in other words, what is on 0.1 UM?
2. what is the last universe? judging by the sensitivity of the knob, that should mean that the sensitivity should be calculable by doing some equation with the first universe, 0.1 UM and the last universe, x UM.

No shit Sherlock
(EDIT)
Another thing I thought about, though feel less confident in, is that Airy somehow got ahold of the waiting room and made it so he could control it.

I was also just thinking the same thing, however, when they travel to different universes they come back to the same "Waiting room." I wonder if each person has a room of death assigned to them, sort of like an OBJECT in CODE.

It's probably pretty bad.

what if maybe, all this places they get teleported through the radio stations might be each of someone's wishes or something they always wanted, wich could mean that where Airy is is where he always wanted, wich is, being a powerful being and a host of a object show.
i could be wrong but it kinda makes sense. especially when in there you can see places you wish you were at, just like Bryce or that crystal guy.
Shouldn’t Liam still care about Amelia? Why didn’t the room present Amelia?
UM on the radio probably stands for Universe modulation as AM stands for Amplitude modulation and FM stands for Frequency modulation.
He miss his sister so much :(

just remember, stone knows EVERYTHING that has is and will happen in the universe, so this is DEFINETELY correct
Yeah no, this felt like a fever dream-
AWESOME EPISODE! I’m always super excited to see more and I’m excited to know what happens next lol
Airy’s first mistake was making a contestant out of an omniscient stone from a field of omniscient stones
So all those stones were alive they just couldn’t say or do anything? That’s crazy messed up. 😭

Not gonna lie, stone probably intended to meet up with them so he could have made them go here so texty could figure out the kill switch thing so in turn to kill stone accidentaly and transfer them to the waiting room.
well it couldn't be Moldy or scenty since they are still in the game meaning it could be tomato or magazine
@@GibzMinecraftz why couldn’t she kill somebody in the game?

“Airy” could also mean the world where we can see airy’s true form
Now this is an interesting episode. The wild goose chase has hit a wall, and Bryce is seeing his childhood. Anyway, I have no clue what that thing is, it’s as if it wants Bryce out of there, yet it’s weird Liam doesn’t see it.
Also why do the stones at the end have eyes-
4:29
oh boy oh boy oh boy! this episode of liam going through traumatic events is probably the craziest yet!
and i dont think i even have to explain how!
Love how when they die byrce is traumatized while liam is like another day on the job
one of my favorite things of this show so far was "the waiting room" (aka apparently the radio room) scene with the toothpaste. im so glad its back and actually explained now. the episodes just keep getting better, love this one!
What does you think history[1,-1] is? History is clearly an object but as far as I'm aware you can't use tuples as list indices in Python.
Also, note that:
1. The code could very well be a snippet
2. There is a special case set just for Liam (or possibly all backpacks)
@@kzh3850 Yeah, that check is really weird, perhaps it’s some sort of a range (second element to last element). It probably isn’t even Python code, but some other made up language that looks similar.
History is probably a matrix. It would make sense for it calls history.shape[1], thé column amount of a matrix in libraries like numpy
Bit by bit, this show becomes less of a show to compete, But slowly it has more of a meaning to it. More of a backstory. Its MORE than a competition now.
Its a mystery.
I feels like a horror object show but mysterious.
It was a mystery since the first episode XD

One of the notes has a frequency that leads to Airy. Does that mean they could possibly get back to the Plane and/or find out who Airy truly is next episode?
Another note with the frequency number has SF on it, which I think stands for San Francisco. Could that be their way back home?

MY DIRTY MIND 😭
3:52 This sound is almost exactly like the one in the ONE teaser trailer (when Magazine goes to The Plane)! I’m convinced that the “Airy” sticky note’s number is for going to The Plane and the “SF” one is for San Fransisco.
“Airy” might also be the place he’s at, so they can see his true form. But the plane is more likely
That's The Radio say UM stands Universe Modulation means multiverse ONE or infinite universes.
I think the toothpaste finally guessed the correct frequency so he can go back to the real world. He spent over a decade guessing and was so fed up with going to wrong worlds and dying over and over
Minor spoilers ahead:
I believe the place they're seeing is their comfort place, Soda bottle's being in his childhood neighborhood, Texty's being in a video of puppies playing, referencing them watching kittens earlier on in the series, stone being in a world full of stone since their foresight wouldn't cause them any distress due to the world being impossible to harm since everyone is the same, even the gem from 1:18 trying to get in contact with "Jasmine" possibly his child or someone of that level of importance to him, but one thing I don't get is why Backpacks comfort place is an empty room with a radio
Liam probably doesn't have a comfort place due to airy taking everything from him
I think its his comfort place because there isnt anything on his mind other than stopping airy and so its only the chairs and the radio
@@TotallyRemote but Liam also saw nothing in ONE 6, airy didn’t take everything from Liam then
I devised a theory on one of my comments. I said:
I think the fact that the dead objects go to their family in the afterlife is a resemblance to Toothpaste & Liam. They had no family. Nor really a life. Because they see what the place really is. Blankness. Nowhere. They have no one to be with.

BREAKING NEWS: two objects proceed to get traumatized in a multitude of ways while one looks at dog videos
Bryce just like: “We are checking ALL the numbers, I do NOT want to die again.”
0:33 idk if this was on purpose but it looks like Bryce's sister is holding Magazine from the first season of ONE. As the design shares a similar look to the Magazine we know.

But I gotta say this episode left off on an even bigger cliffhanger than the last and this makes me very angry lol
Edit: also I love the way Liam says “I think the lightning struck us both dead” so casually and apathetically as if it’s not a big deal that they literally died
Edit 2: also am I the only one who kinda feels bad for Bryce? Like, he didn’t ask for any of this. He has specifically stated before that he didn’t want to be a part of this. In this episode it feels like he’s only trying to work with Liam so he can get out of this place and go back to his life.
THAT WAS SO GOOD. I like the idea of them all having different ideas of what the afterlife looks like.
5:59 Liam and Bryce were not the Imposters.
3 Imposters remain.
a little theory: in ONE 9 when liam is flipping through the notes that stone gave him and there is a radio number for stone which teleports you to stones place, but theres also a radio number for airy (4837895641361081574867455100523523993246453827549716928.3) (and also a radio number for sf but thats not important to the theory) what im saying is if they put in airys radio number (which im sure they will do next episode) they might get teleported back to the plane.
hope you like the theory (btw i was watching ONE 9 when i came up with this) (also, im not sure if someone has already made this theory once so if youre that person dont say im stealing cause im not.) (also i put airys radio number just incase you forgot i also dont know why youd wanna remember but its too late now and i already put it)
Edit: i also think they will teleport to where airy ACTUALLY is like where hes broadcasting the show.
where does the radio number for airy appear?

The laptop lost power before and Texty was fine.
I think it's a comfort place more than the past, Bryce's is his old neighbourhood, texty's is a vid of puppies and kittens and Liam's is the actual waiting room for some reason.

This episode went by so fast, this one was really good!
This was low-key my favorite episode so far
I feel like the reason Liam has nothing in his version of the waiting room place may be because he saw the presumed dead poster in one of the previous episodes. Everyone thinks he’s dead (most everyone) and he’s basically homeless, so he just has an empty space. He doesn’t have anywhere to go or do anything, no people to see
He did have it when he died so he must’ve not had anything left connecting to the real world.
