There are so many favorite card sets that I love, but my favorite would definitely be Aquapolis. Love those e-reader cards!
So cool to see the history of Pokémon Card Sets. Personally my favourite set is Pokémon Go, because it had such a small amount of cards I was able to complete easily.

My favorite set was team Rocket. I always enjoyed the variations of the art work and seeing a different side of the pokemon I have grown to love. I can't imagine how difficult this may be to do in today's market. Thanks for your contributions to the hobby and keeping us entertained with videos like this

Honestly, my favorite set has to be Black and White Plasma Freeze. This set back in 2011 really kicked off my love for Pokémon card collecting. Not to mention the blue borders on some of the cards are a nice touch to the set as well.
It was really cool seeing all the packs I never got to open! Jungle pack is what I opened the most of as a kid so it’s got to be my favorite because of the nostalgia.
I stopped following Pokemon for a while but I’ve fallen back in love with it and familiarizing myself with all of the booster packs I have not opened over the years. I’d say my current favorite is the Legendary Collection but Evolving Skies and Brilliant Stars are also amazing!
Having a child is such a blessing. Enjoy every minute and try not to blink. Time flies. My son is 16 in December and it felt like yesterday
Celebrations is my personal favorite! I’ve never opened them myself (though I hope to change that soon) I really loved the era where all the TCG community was opening them. Plus you can’t beat the reprints of vintage cards!!

I remember opening the EX series a lot as a kid. By far my favorite with the reverse holos. I'm very fortunate that found the binder with 500 cards stuffed in it. I'm trying to find decent deals on anything from that generation.

Base set will always be my favorit. Not because of the value it has now, but it was the first time ever I collected something. I was a kid with a goal, getting the entire set. I never completed it and now I don't have the money to even try. But looking though the cards sometimes gives me that warm nostalgic feeling of going to the store with your mom, buying a few packs and getting that card you needed. Man, I miss those times.. 😅
My favorite set of all time has to be Legendary Collection but sadly it’s to expensive for me to buy lol. Great opening 🎉🙌🏼
I always thought that the Team Rocket original set was amazing. Getting to see all my original favourites in new, darker cards was just a really cool addition.
I still have quite a few cards from that set which I treasured. Never was able to get many booster packs when I was younger, but my sister ended up giving me Dark Weezing and that card, however now well-played, stayed with me every day for almost a year before my dad was able to buy me a binder for my cards.
Fossil will always have a place in my heart. Was the first set that I started collecting when I was younger. Younger me having no clue how to store the cards so I just put them in ziplock bags 😂
My favourite will always be the base Diamond & Pearl set. Idk what it was called anymore, but having recently returned to the Pokémon world it is a true pleasure to watch all this. Keep doing your thing dude, love your content!
Looking further in the video, the HG/SS combo cards like Lugia full art.. MAN what a masterful bit of art they were! I remember buying like 4 packs and completing Ho-oh with the two halves. Never knew what tey wer worth, sold them a decade or so ago. Man. Fun times.
Favorite card set has to be the original. I grew up at the right time and was lucky enough to experience the first packs. So it's just very nostalgic for me. Cherish the time with your daughter as much as you can. They grow up incredibly quick unfortunately. Hope all is well! Thank you for the awesome content as always!
It has to be the jungle set for me. I personally feel that it really took the pokemon cards to another level and the attention it got from that set boosted the price and attention towards the previous sets as well.

I guess I'd have to say the base set is my favorite, but I only recently started collecting again. I do like a lot of the artwork on the Astral Radiance sets, though!
I really like your videos Leonhart! Videos like this helped get me back into Pokemon card collecting after 20+ years off the scene. I grew up during the late 90's early 2000's and your videos bring me back to that time. I opened my first pack a couple of weeks ago and it was quite the rush. My favorite set by far was gym heroes! I started playing as a kid when they came out! My brother and I weren’t given too much as kids so the random pack I’d be able to buy was always such a thrill. Core memories for sure! 😊
I love seeing the evolution of cards and artworks throughout the years in these kinds of videos! I'm not sure that it would be considered a 'set' in the traditional way that Pokemon releases sets, but the Southern Islands set of cards will always be one of my absolute favorites 😊

man this is such a throwback! one of my fav sets I remember getting a ton as a kid was legendary treasures solely because of the radiant collection with it- i loved the serperior you could get and kept buying them in hopes of just one!!
Fossil and Rocket always have a special place. I started collecting when Base set came out but the art of Fossil was just so beautiful with all these vivid colors. Not to forget all the Dark Pokemon from Rocket. It was so awesome to see some of your favorite cute Pokemon being all badass and mean.

What a pack opening! Favourite packs for me are the Ruby and sapphire packs! Best pull I ever did was when I was 12 and I opened a first edition charizard, would take it to school with me everyday and then I ended up trading it for about 60 cards that were fake. Young and silly 😭
Believe it or not, the 25th anniversary celebrations! It was the set I got into collecting Pokémon cards again and I have a lot of positive nostalgia with it thanks to those generous pull rates.

Other than all the Neo sets, I love the original 3 too. But I think that for me the modern evolving skies takes it for best art work and I opened 4 booster boxes when if first came out for normal prices. Pulled so good it was the best time I’ve had opening packs.

I'm crazy about the Skyridge set. The art is absolutely gorgeous and pulling the crystal charizard was the most amazing feeling ever as a little girl. I hope I can someday open a few more packs. So much nostalgia! I'm also crazy about the upcoming 151 set. I'll finally start collecting again. Thanks for doing this amazing opening!

Absolute favorite pack is a tough ask, but I'd have to go with EX Deoxys! I never pulled anything fantastic from the set, but it was my childhood - and I just recently found my old cards from back in the day! The art is such a beauty.

Toss up between Legendary Collection and Crystal Guardians. CG was retroactive, I found out as an adult how amazing it was, since I lost interest in pokemon about a year or so before it released when I was younger.
