Wow , how kind of you my friend. You know that is appreciated and we thank you for that kindness. Greatly appreciated and will keep us out there to share more :)
CONGRATS EE ON FINDING THAT HELMET,BADGES!!! IT WAS MORE THAN A "OH MY GRAVY" MOMENT!!!I'm still in "AWE". Unbelievable, just Unbelievable. Wow! Thanks fir for taking us. Those detectors work great and love the digging tool.
Great job, EE. This is a find worthy of shelf space. HH, the medals found a hint that some of the troops were rotated from the Eastern front or were wounded and sent back to the Fatherland for recovery and then transferred to the Atlantic Wall. The coin was a great find. This was a great hunt. Congratulations to both of you. Stay safe and well.
I am so glad EE got to experience that. As he said when he got home , Daddy , one of my best days and explores out there for a very long tie and i am so glad for that :) Yes we do think that is why those types of medals were there. Thanks so much from us :)
Congratulations EE for finding the helmet and badge, the helmet looks like it has some camouflage paint still noticeable. Absolutely a great day metal detecting. Thank you HH and EE for taking us along.
Those are bucket list finds for a lot of folks! Congratulations EE! Unbelievable how well those cheap detectors were working. Thanks for bringing us along
Wunderbare Lage und gefundene Schätze. The helmet was a find of a lifetime, and I'm so happy EE found it. The metals were also a great find. It would seem that those " cheap detectors " do a wonderful job of uncovering WWII history. It would be nice to have one since in my area, the Revolutionary War and the Civil War were fought. Thank you both for your dedication to uncovering and sharing WWII history and as always, " Good Hunting "
Thanks! Very happy for both of you. I could hear your hearts pounding. And to have a Spitfire fly overhead, I mean Wow what a day. Stay safe n happy freinds 😊
Great video guys ! And EE is on his way to creating his own shelf for personal best finds to keep for himself ! As others have said , I bet there is so much more there to be discovered for sure ! And the gear is top notch stuff and for a great price too ! I hear you sniffling in the video too HH , Dont be getting sick again my friend ! As always , looking forward to what you have next up !
I am so glad EE got to experience that. I t almost made my cry actually behind the camera. Such INCREDIBLE day out there and we thank YOU for your incredible support :) Greetings from us.
That exploration was unbelievable. I was amazed by all the artifacts you found. To find just one of the items during one exploration would be great but to find all of them together at one time is mind blowing. So happy for Eagle Eyes. He amazes me more and more with each exploration. I bet you both didn’t want to leave after you continuously kept finding such great artifacts. One of the best locations I’ve seen in a while.
Guys, what incredible finds, and EE, my young friend, seriously well done on finding that helmet! Cannot blame you for wanting to have that on your shelf! It is in such incredibly good shape having been buried for all this time. That sandy soil has done a great job of preserving it, and those medals. Pity the liner was all gone (and thankfully no one was home). And as for those medals. Finding one Ost Front was amazing in itself, but two? And the War Merit Cross! And another MG belt. And that little Bakelite container! One of the best metal detecting explores ever! Fantastic work both of you! That location is definitely worth going to, again, and again, in the future. Who knows what else is there waiting for our fantastic team. May that elusive MG 42 HH? Seriously though, thank you both for all your hard efforts to bring us such amazing locations, and finds, as these! Cheers to you both! Stay safe! Stay strong! Stay happy!
I almost cried on our way back seing how excited and happy EE was after that day. Such incredible day it was. Only time will tell what more could be there. Thanks so much from us and keep smiling :)
Incredible collection of medals that you found, not the kind of thing you find very often. You have done a great job with stabilising the helmet and preserving it.
Very exciting finds... and a sobering realization of the aftermath of ground combat on the entire countryside in which battles were fought. Metal detectorists in America visit Civil War battle grounds and discover similar type 19th century war artifacts. It makes history truly come alive. Thank you for sharing your wonderful adventures and discoveries.
I'm only half way through the vid at the moment and I'm already stunned. Amazing finds, congratulations both of you and I'm super happy for both of you.
I would definitely stick with those detectors for a while, as they bring you good luck, and you'll get a chance to test it's long-term reliability. And congratulations on finding some truly amazing pieces! Medals are the coolest as they are direct links to history itself. The apparent variety of high-profile medals and such that you found might point to a bit of a hodge-podge of soldiers and units perhaps, if this was towards the end of the war. Great stuff!!
That bakelite tablet box those were everywhere when I visited the Channel Islands in the mid 80s I got one for every year ! SO many stunning finds. TWO Ost Front medals too !! Well done HH and EE !
Those metal detectors definitely did a great job. What a bunch of fantastic items you two found especially those medals and the helmet! A terrific site indeed!
Guys, you've done it again. Another very enjoyable video with the best finds ever. EE should be very proud of himself with all of his finds. This is much more enjoyable than looking at gun emplacements, isn't it.
This has got to one of your most spectacular finds ever and the bonus of a Spitfire flying over, you could,nt make it up! That was such an emotional moment when EE found that helmet, also i have never seen those Eastern Front medals before, very impressive.HH you must be so proud of your protoge,he is the product of a brilliant Father and Teacher.👍👍
Yes EE was so happy there and so proud. Loved the Spitfire coming over at that moment. Such a fantastic explore. Thanks so much for your great support :)
I love watching your videos, wish I could have been there too. I had an Eastern front medal in my collection years ago, but my collection disappeared and the police were no help with it either. My German collection, about 48 WW2 American uniforms, two WW1 helmets and other things were gone. Never had a German helmet in my collection, not even a repro, they are so hard to get a hold of. Would love to be a patron, but funds these days, I get paid very little. Great find eagle eyes!!! The Hemet and especially the cross medal. Keep up the super work, can't wait to see your next video!!
I wish I could press the thumbs up button for every find you made that day, absolutely outstanding finds. This is like a film, who would believe that you would find the German helmet and medals all in one day. A day of a lifetime. And, of course, the Spitfire diving down from the skies as you worked. Wow that Reich Pfennig was in really good near mint circulated condition. At this rate EE will have a complete set of medals issued 39-45. Good idea EE of using the tool like a trowel and slowly taking small scrapes away. Wow that stahlhelm is in incredible condition. The sand is a very good preserver of artifacts.
Pretty much a perfect day for EE and i loved to see him that happy. Great explore and so glad we could share that with you JuleyC. Thanks for being here with us and keep smiling :)
You totally outdid yourselves with these finds! A helmet and medals plus a coin! Beyond dreams today! Congrats to EE! Give yourself a big pat on the back!
Beautiful east front medal find guys!! 1943 water purification tablet carrier made of plastic, cool! Wow, The War Merit Cross second class bronze with swords that you found is in great condition! EE finds a helmet!! Nice! I don't think the owner of this helmet survived the kind of battle damage the helmet received. I sometimes wonder when buttons, medals and helmets are found together or near each other if they were purposely discarded for some reason like capture or to rid themselves of identification or maybe they fell in battle at the location.... Thanks for taking us along guys!
EE was so proud and happy that day and just loved to see him smile so much. I have read that sometimes they wanted to get rid of their medal etc if captured etc. Thanks for your great support Donald :)

Hi there HH and EE great find out there especially finding the war medals and a ww2 German coin and awesome to hear a British spitfire flying in the sky 👍
Congratulations boys on an amazing find such a great find but I did feel sad when you found the Helmet and all I could think about who wore it and whatever happened to the soldier. Thanks for a great video.
Congratulation! After the Helmet Queen 14 years ago now your son earns the title Helmet King. And then two badgets. It´s fucking great. The soldiers called this medal "Gefrierfleischorden". My grandfather told me that. He earned one of them himself.
Yes i can remember that moment as it was yesterday my friend . This was such a lucky day out there and so glad EE got to experience that. Thank you my friend for unforgettable moments with history and we send our greetings from us :)
Maybe the spitfire was flying overhead bc you and Eagle Eyes walked into a time slip portal and that spitfire pilot is an actual WW2 soldier flying a mission on a time loop. Or, even crazier, it's just a modern-day pilot with a love of WW2 planes. Im going with the 'time slip' option

Oh no HH, this was a holy shit moment to say the least. Those medals and helmet were awesome finds! To find so many awesome things out there was amazing. That reichfenning was beautiful. Such an incredible find. It looked to be dropped in 1942. I love it! Take care and stay safe. 💖💯
@@WW2HistoryHunter just bought myself a new detector but my finds were not as spectacular unfortunately, gotta do some more research on some locations, anyways ill be looking out for ur videos as always keep it up
Kudos on your find. No, I'm not looking for a metal detector, but I was curious to find that Alfred Buschmann war merit cross 2nd class with swords, when I tried to pull up his name I got Franz Buschmann instead, and his record as a Fighter ace.
OH my what finds , will there be more from this location there must be more finds there Congratulations HH AND EE great Hemet find for EE on to the next.
you dont find medals out there unless its an iron cross 1st class, they never wore medals in combat only ribbons and badges like wound badges or combat claps ect
We as parents are always in a relationship with our kids and want to tell them right and wrong. The funny part is how our double standards are a known thing as parents 😂 It's Very funny actually, and I do that myself. Example in time "16.39" History-Hunter is digging powerful, and Eagel-Eye's just want to turn the plug of dirt, and he's father says be careful!.😂 I have been a metal detector for many years myself, and have like other people injured the item with my digging item!. I really just fell it funny that I look at myself in this situation, when I got my son with me out Metaldetekting 😂 Thanks for a good video. The shovel you use I have bought about 10 years ago is just another brand, and it is a amazing tool!🤔 Thanks for a good Chanel! 😊👍
Cartridges, shrapnel, and pieces of war material are great finds. However, buttons, medals, a helmet, and pieces of personal issue humanize. Who knows, that one pfennig may have been in the pocket of the helmet owner.
Congratulations for finding the best and most beautiful helm ever made. 👍🏻 der Stahlhelm 🤗 and Winterschlacht im Osten 1941/42. Also a beautiful piece 👍🏻
Well done mates.
Wow , how kind of you my friend. You know that is appreciated and we thank you for that kindness. Greatly appreciated and will keep us out there to share more :)
The irony and odds of that Spitfire flying over that exact place at that exact moment is ABSOLUTELY EPIC !!!
Only about 70 Spit’s in the world are airworthy. That had to be a message from beyond…
I was thinking the area might be near an active airfield, or at least inline with one.
So true and we could not believe that it came over right then. Such a great moment that was. Thanks for watching :)
Such an amazing adventure! I would be shaking. Good finds!
Very kind of you my friend and we really appreciate that. Keeps us out there to share even more history. Thanks so much from us :)

Hello HH & EE,
An adventure every time, beautiful artifacts tracked down again.
What a beautiful German helmet that is.
Very special that a Spitfire flies over.
Thanks again Oma and so glad EE got to experience that. More to come later :)
Maybe it’s someone fleeing, getting rid of their jacket/ equipment to escape the russians? Great finds!
Who knows. Thanks for watching :)
Could be. I wouldn't want to be caught with high grade medals. Would probably be more likely to be killed or tortured..
I'm still very curious what a kreigsmarine medal is doing in a trench though..
@@uurkismeWhen the navy was pretty much destroyed they utilized them throughout the services.

very nice video. how can I find positions from World War II on the internet for metall dedecting?
Research my friend , tons of research. Thanks for watching :)
The eastern front metal was called the Order of the Frozen Flesh.
Interesting and thanks for being here Robert :)

OH my what finds , will there be more from this location there must be more finds there Congratulations HH AND EE great Hemet find for EE on to the next.
So glad EE experienced this day and thanks my friend for being here :)
I wonder why you were finding medals on a battle area, I wouldn't have thought they would have wore medals while fighting
planted for sure you
you dont find medals out there unless its an iron cross 1st class, they never wore medals in combat only ribbons and badges like wound badges or combat claps ect
Yes at last a holy madonna moment 😊 great work 😊
Thank you! 😄
We as parents are always in a relationship with our kids and want to tell them right and wrong. The funny part is how our double standards are a known thing as parents 😂
It's Very funny actually, and I do that myself.
Example in time "16.39" History-Hunter is digging powerful, and Eagel-Eye's just want to turn the plug of dirt, and he's father says be careful!.😂
I have been a metal detector for many years myself, and have like other people injured the item with my digging item!. I really just fell it funny that I look at myself in this situation, when I got my son with me out Metaldetekting 😂
Thanks for a good video. The shovel you use I have bought about 10 years ago is just another brand, and it is a amazing tool!🤔
Thanks for a good Chanel! 😊👍
Appreciated and greetings from us :)

Glad you enjoyed it
Nice finds H.H
Thanks from us :)
outstanding
Appreciated :)
Cartridges, shrapnel, and pieces of war material are great finds. However, buttons, medals, a helmet, and pieces of personal issue humanize. Who knows, that one pfennig may have been in the pocket of the helmet owner.
Well , this day was such a great moment for EE and so proud of him Paul. Thanks for being here with us :)
