- Hello everyone, this video features Dr Jack's O Gauge layout which he likes to call Milwaukee Mania although you can find other road names on the layout. He said his layout is based on the time period of 1957 Chicago and Milwaukee Road is his favorite trains to run. The layout is 1200 square feet and 65feet in length.

This layout is amazing! It would be so cool if we could get an on-board view of the layout! (I heard that putting a GoPro on a flat car and pushing it works great on O scale
It was really amazing to see it in person. Yeah putting a Go Pro on a flat car and pushing it works well
Truly amazing the dedication to detail.
It was a huge wonderful layout

The Milwaukee Road had a line east of my property (now CN), so I am interested in that Line. Gorgeous layout!
It's amazing to visit in person
This is a great layout....
It's very impressive in person
Noticed the NYC subway entrance lol
Very impressive
I was even more impressive in person
It LOOKS like the Milwaukee Road!
I wish he had run some freight, and would really love to see a "Little Joe" running "under the wire"...
Yeah that would have been cool
The very best and most detailed layout I have ever viewed on UA-cam. You have a wonder land layout. Do you have a Bipolar Milwaukee engine, did not see one . Thanks for sharing your great layout.
Better than museum quality
I thought so as well
There are a few layouts I’ve called Goals. This is one of them.
Nice layout
I thought so as well
First time viewer for this video. Absolutely Awasum. i grew up in "Beer town! is this in somebodys house? What city is this in. this rivels the train set up in the Chicago musium of science and industry! Fantastic display. im going to save this video to play it overe and over!
Thanks much for watching. This is a private layout that was on a open house tour in Georgia. It's owned by DrJack who is featured on the Mr Muffins UA-cam Channel from time to time.
This has got to be the greatest layout I have ever seen. Do you know who built his layout?
So cool what craftsmanship
It was a amazing layout
Incredible. There's at least 100 grand of stuff there. What kind of track is that??
How do they keep dust off everything?
Absolutely Beautiful. Can the public visit and are there any overall still shots or the layout posted anywhere?
The layout was actually only on tour for the National Garden Railway Convention in Tennessee. Not sure if he plans to have any more future open house tours
I'd like to see the owner's progress photos of him building and detailing the layout.
Is that an Ef-1 at 5:01 and what brand makes that model?
This layout is just awesome!! My goodness how did you do it? I would love to see a schematic design of this layout so I can build the same.
This layout belongs to Dr Jack Fisher. It was a layout featured during a one year open house tour
@@Dakman thank you for the information
Nice but its the same 2 trains that are running??????
incredible, is that train shed with the milwaukee sign completely scratch built? is there a 3d printed design / kit available? anybody know?
I believe alot of the structures are scratch built.
This ws a very good video, I grew up in Milwaukee in the 50s, My favorite RR.I never new why Mil Road painted the Hiawatha the same colors as the Union Pacific! did they merge? Also wondering where is this layout located? In Milwaukee, or where? pl;ease answer. id love to see it in person. I cant imagen the time and money it took to produce that layout! do you have tours! 'Who snuck that New York Central in there? I worked on the real thing when younger, C&NW as a switch man. I decided id rather like trains, then get killed by them. Anetas husband..
Two things. I've seen some of doctor Jack's layout on mr muffi s channel altough rarely. Wish you could get dr jack to do videos on his own channel with a simple but very capable video setup like you use- small camera, mic, tripod. The stuff we could learn with a simple camera and tripod fixed at his worktable. Like many, I'd watch for hours...he could be a master teacher with his detail, patience and creativity. Also, does he have an open house or take visitors by appointment. Id drive from nj to Atlanta to see it gary j
Shawn, does dr jack use inclines to get to elevated tracks or just elevated tracks where he hand positions engines and cars? I tried for 3 years to make a 8 ft incline up and 6 ft decline but tore it down. My proto 1 engines without speed control needed constant aggravating speed changes going up and down. Gary j
He has a open house during a National Garden Railway Society. I'm not sure if he offers private tours to the general public. Mr Muffins did do one live stream during the same time period of the NGRC convention. His layout was amazing to see in person.
I see that the scale is 0, but who is the manufacturer? Excelent Job!!!!!
There were a couple of manufacturers represented in the video Lionel, MTH and Atlas O
What company built the layout? It looks like a Trainworx job with their union station, shed and many components. Was Trainworx the contractor?
Not sure but he did mention having a contractor build the majority of the layout
Do you know how their o gauge shelves were made?
I'm not really sure
Is there a track plan that we can link to?
I don't think so
What is the name of the turntable like thing at 1:11
Called a traverser.
