Hopefully they have a much less toxic relationship. Both he and his ex had a terrible relationship. She shared videos on TikTok of Kane before his lawyers had her take then down. Crazy stuff.
Kane is all heart, playing through those injuries. Looking forward to a healthy Evander Kane rejoining the team. I've been nothing but impressed with Kane's character since he joined the Oilers.
Godspeed Kaner for a full recovery from whatever is ailing you! Ready to see you back when the time is right at full health, ready to dominate and help the Oil towards the ultimate goal!
Had a chance to personally wish EK sincere Get Well and have a Helluva Season. Again I wish a Huge Get Well and Get Better. Looking forward to a Great Contribution from EK during the upcoming Playoff/Cup Run.😊🎉😊
Despite all the hate Kane gets. Since he moved to endmonton I haven’t been disappointed. He showed up in the playoffs when we needed him too years ago and obviously with time he’ll slow down but he’s still a great player. If you watch oilers games you’d understand. Get well soon Kane. Can’t wait to see you on the ice
Get well soon Van-man the Oilers are a LOT better team with you at your skillful & impactful best! You need your ab's 100% to hoist that cup next fall! Let's hope you handle teh recovery as well as you handle the dumb questions!
Get well soon Evander! We need you back giving the media heck. The freak wrist accident and these injuries will be behind you when you drive for the cup this season.
Saw him out front of the collessium steak an pizza an told him good luck this season but totally didn't know he was injured like this. I hope he recovers as quick and as healthily even so. You got this Kaner!
When Evander Kane comes back from LITR he will be a force to be reckoned with for a long Playoff run in 2025! As a converted fan of Evander Kane and lifelong Oilers fan, I hope he takes his time getting back, come back to be heathy physically, mentally and emotionally ready to play in the Playoffs. You are important contributor to the Oilers, the City of Edmonton, and above all to your family!
Praying for you as you have surgery and recover! I look forward to when you return to play! We need you, as we pursue the Cup!!! Congratulations to you and your soon to be wife, and precious family!
Wow the questions they really gotta know all the nosy details. That said wishing Kane a good healthy recovery, its going to take time, people also need to not expect him to be back quickly.
He’s the missing piece when it comes to Playoff Hockey. When fully healthy, it’s very evident. He’ll give you a fight, a goal & a assist. Or 2 goals & a fight. Whichever he’s feeling. Go Oilers
Both hip adductors, two torn abdominal muscles, and two hernias? Jesus Edit: recovery times (per google, so make of them what you will...) Adductor: 3-6 months before returning to physical activity (so add time to skate afterwards before coming back) Torn ab muscle: way too big of a range of severity to tell, could be anywhere from 1 month to 6 months or more Sports hernia: up to 12 weeks before returning to sports
Some during the season were quite negative about Evander last season. It was not a fair judgment. It will be a happy story to have Evander feeling healthy and ready to make a difference.
That fellow is a different Guy than the one that first appeared on our radar when he was signed. I am so excited to see this fella back to healthy and how that will impact your Oilers in their journey to a Stanley Cup. I hope Oiler fans realize what they a part of, I left your Group 2 years ago because of the bow down to the Pride movement and the Indigenous Mob... Best of success in your season except against my 'HAWKS of course.
@@TiggaTrey It is always inspiring when someone that was given a Second chance and they realize and covet the opportunity to help others SUCCEED, Evander wants to be that Guy

I have a hernia right now. Some days you forget about it because you don’t feel it and maybe do something to tweak it and make it worse. You have days where you don’t feel it and think you can push things. I got to a point where I had a long stretch it didn’t bother me and I made the mistake of trying to lift weights. Then it reminds you. Also had days it’s painful to walk around. I totally get what he’s gone through. Past that there is always risk going under the knife. I don’t blame him for being cautious. I’m wondering if stem cell therapy was explored? They do good stuff in certain states, Mexico and Cuba with stem cells. Joe Rogan had torn tissue in his shoulder heal completely with stem cells.
Definitely hope they did because it’s more natural than them putting metal in and stuff. Klefbom could have done it but it wasn’t known as much back then
@@Oilers1972 yeah I tried explaining this too people too and they don’t get it, he was perfect as a option for it but they put a metal ball in his shoulder and then her got major arthritis in it but he also had staff infection or something
@@McSwirlywirly, it’s really too bad and sad. They also literally can take stem cells from the umbilical cord. People having kids todays should be having the cord stored and cells can be pulled when health issues come up. It’s building blocks of healthy cells.
Six injuries to fix with the expectation of coming back with no issues is irresponsible by his medical team. It is impossible to say how long and hard the recovery is without knowing (none of my business) the extent of the injuries. Those injuries are serious and difficult to recover from. You can hear the challenge of giving info without providing any details he is having. It would be less stressful and a better example for kids to see honesty at the moment of injury. The false assumption that if we say exactly where the injury is other teams will target that injury needs to stop. Whether you provide details or not everyone knows you have some injury. I wish him the best in his recovery.
Edmonton media have no respect. They all come off pushy and entitled. It is blatantly obvious he will be out for the season and Oilers will fill his cap. He will hopefully be back for the playoffs but of course he nor the anyone else can blatantly say that outright.
They won't use his cap they've already said they won't either way as leaving it open now actually gives them more cap space at the deadline. The only reason to use it before the deadline is if they feel they need to to make the playoffs
Those were very routine questions. Nothing nosy at all... Did anyone expect him to give the timeline? Problem not, but his attitude sucked throughout that whole interview.
@wt8213 it's a symbiotic relationship - neither exist in their job without each other. They weren't asking particularly personal questions. They weren't asking his home address or SIN. They wanted to know pretty basic stuff when it comes to an injury. Kane wanted his summer and now he's dealing with the consequence as it hurts the team.
That's kind of funny. More options means a wider perspective, it just takes a little longer to mull over and grasp, like he said. He chose from that wider perspective, that's not a bad thing, and I suspect his choice from three PANELS of highly successful doctors will prove fruitful, too. The odds of success seem substantially higher than Uncle Bob's, who may have to wait til 2030 to get it. I think he'll be okay.
So sour about the whole situation. Not professional at all. The media was asking pretty routine questions and frankly he was nothing but rude. Dude can play hockey but needs to be more appreciative of those around him. They were legit questions. Sounds like he just wanted his summer.
@joetoh6675 I didn't catch the time question, if in deed that was in there, but a simple question like who is he using isn't harmful. They're pro players of a sport. They should expect and respect these types of questions.
