Everyone gets a "bad" placement every once in a while. At least, if you're not playing a choose to loose character (Like Steve, Sonix and Game& Watch)

@@jannomeeuwessen4886Yeah but he was playing a bit shaky regardless, probably because of his mental but still, just watch his set vs noi at kagarabi, he lost a stock because he air dodged in three times in a row in game 5.

If I had a nickle for every time MKLeo got destroyed by a Japanese heavy player, I'd have two nickles. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice.
My wasted youth with elite smash DK says DK destroys cloud (baby mode parry timing and big punishes, easy off stage combo carry and consistent cargo weight. But is powerless against joker, gun is broken. It eats inputs and leaves the monkey standing there confused and or falling to his doom with no hope of recovery at 30%. Plus practice room combos for +60% even with perfect DI.

Seeing japan this year it feels like when nas players go there it feels like the equivalent of 30 Japanese giant hornets destroying a beehive of 30,000 bees except the bees are the invaders. In zombie land it would feel like the average Japanese pro player is like a t800. I’m bringing all these analogies because Japan as a region is an absolute unit.

On light out, Sonix mentioned that Sparg0 should have gone Corrin... I am pretty sure because Sparg0 is so good a lot of people just study him and can upset him because unlike steve, Cloud can cheese so I do think Sparg0 is falling prey to this..that plus I am pretty sure the pressure is huge for him and he might be cracking under it since he is still young
