nah its bc cloud and DK is even to DK looses a bit, when spargo did his matchup chart not that long ago DK was even, because as he said, you can somewhat pressure DK really good and you have a lot of disjointed moves but like, one grab on ledge and its over, or you get your jump caught and its over you just loose the stock, he was lucky that this DK wasn't going for spikes because cloud can't handle them without limit, specially downair which is destruction specially for cloud, not to mention that cloud isn't really an offstage character he can edgeguard good but other than that you can't really go after DK off stage, to that add that DK survives A LOT like he could survive a bair on ledge at like 100% which is wild bc most characters die like that
and yeah in top of that spargo wasn't playing good, like you're supposed to throw a bunch of safe moves cross DK up so he can't grab you, he was landing A LOT in front of DK and getting grabbed, that shouldn't happen as cloud you have back air which is completely safe, you have fair which is completely safe if spaced, you can cross him up really easily because of his speed, but it wasn't like spargo was playing bad and still a couple MINOR mistakes and the set is over, thats why DK is pretty good against cloud you have to play perfect or think a lot or you get grabbed and die.

Sparg0 was kinda just mashing on his shield where DK cuz just shield grab u and punish u so hard
Yeah Spargo wasn't respecting the DK grab and if he wants to mash on shield then he needs to space his bair/fairs better or spot dodge if he expects the grab out of shield. DK's grab oos is frame 12 so it isn't even that fast of an oos option especially compared to Clouds safe aerials.

Knowing that DK doesn't have the best out of shield options you should expect them trying to grab if you attack with something unsafe on the front of their shield.
In that last interaction Cloud landed on the DK's shield with bair (which can be a low as -3) crossing up and landing in front. I'm pretty sure he had time to spot dodge, but it's hard to tell on my phone since I can't check frame by frame. The DK player already grabbed Spargo earlier out of shield and should have expected him to try again or try to space his bairs/fairs better. These JP players are really patient and don't seem to mind waiting for you to hit their shield.

Wario isnt a skill check, you call a skill check a mid to low tier characters who have some mechanics that can “cheese you” like DK cargo to blastzone. Some characters just cant make it and die early to it, anywho. DK even isnt really all that bad of a Mid tier but looses many match ups. The ones he isnt all that bad he will abuse his cheese factor and spacing and can clutch out.

The above people where kind of mean but just to clarify upset specifically only is referring to a higher ranked player losing to a lower ranked player, match ups/characters have nothing to do with it being an upset or not
