Both is fine I guess :) Of course 15 m2 brings more space for your belongings.

Hi Kisal! The last one costs more because it's a private apartment, it's not in a dormitory. :)

Is it very difficult to find a dorm room through studentenwerk? I have heard that the waiting periods are very high.
The demand is very high but normally you should be able to find a dorm :)
Yes. They only provide it to German people.

Hello all, Studentenwerk has stopped giving accommodation to non German people. Find your own accomdation.
Hello, the Studierendenwerk has not stopped giving accommodations to Non-German people. The FAU welcomes people from all over the world and the Studeiendenwerk tries to give accommodations to everyone.
wow that is so bad. German students can find housing and apartments more easily than international students, as they know the local language so they would be ripped off. student dorms should prioritize international students becuse they cannot go and look for houses from outside Germany. many private renters do not bother to answer international students when they hear you are not in Germany. it feels like they are trying to make it harder for international students and stop them coming there.
@@Unifau it is not True. I talked with Studentenwerk, they told me this to my face that Studentenwerk only provides housing for German students.
@@Unifau I am unfortunately told that as a masters student I have extremely low chances to get one. They instantly replied back to my application and recommended to look for other options, shutting the doors for a dormitory beforehand!
