80's were great, the 90's were also amazing. Still have my Sony walkman wm-f12 :-)

I loved that game and would play a few hours per week for sure. That brings back the memories for sure.

The thing is everything back in the day had character and charisma. Nowadays everything is minimalist, sleek, flat, and simple.

My favorite old tech was Atari 800 computer with tape drive.

My dad's Walkman headphones went kaput a few years ago, a few days ago he said he would like to have headphones as comfortable as those and the in ear ones hurt him so I looked up models that fit his needs, found a couple I liked, the Jlab Retro Wireless and a Koss that's wired. Out of the two I went with the Jlab and got one for me too, still waiting for them to arrive.
Maybe one day if he wants to restore his Walkman I'll get him a Koss or original new old stock.

I'm just happy they still make the tech that looks older as I do miss those times for sure. Thanks for watching.

@@craigneidel There will always be a nostalgic element to older times. There are modern fridges that look straight out of a 50's commercial, manufacturers still build outdated weapons from the 40s and 50s, wireless cassette players, vinyl records are booming, and things like headphones too. There was a care for user interaction that's lost nowadays in many markets, mostly for profits, car buttons being replaced with a single touch display are a good example, and they suck which is why some are dialing back again.

I agree. I may be buying an Atari 800 soon which was the computer I grew up with.

I was thinking about this the other day. I miss some of the look and feel of the old MacBook Air and even the plastic colorful MacBook desktops 😭.

I do too for sure. I actually miss my Atari 800 the most and it was just a simpler time with games that were easy to play and I think a bit more fun. If you wanted to go online it was tough and I think that actually made life better than what we have now. I still love tech but loved the early days. I think the simple Baud modems we fun too. It didn't let all the crazy people in the world get together :) Retro tech is out there if you look so pick some up.
