Man that Whipple needs to breathe. You put a cam and are only running to 6300 or so rpm. Makes no sense. You should be redlining around 7k. Put some 3/8 thick wall pushrods and Manton rocker shafts with Stanke valve train collars and braces. Make some big power with that blower. The big Whipple has a bad reputation in the Hellcat community because people do not rpm enough to take advantage of the large case capacity. A stock ported blower would have made as much power if you are going to keep the rpm that low. 6300rpm you could use a 2.65/10% pulley combo and make big numbers.

You must be a forum junkie.... the cam profile that was installed will not continue to make more power past 6300rpm, as you can see by the curve that the hp has already started to nose over and flatten out. A stock ported blower on our dyno will not even come close to what this combination did... also check out the third video we did to see the final numbers....

Over reving these cars with stock internals that aren’t designed to rev that high really past 6850 rpm is what I’ve been told. this is why you see dudes shooting stock pistons out the side of their block. All had the same issue reving past 6800 from my experiences of people I know unless built for that rpm but wouldn’t be trusting those stock pistons to 7k rpm plus with a big ass whipple sustained for many pulls anyways I bet the cylinder pressures are ridiculous at that rpm even if the cam was designed to go that high. Either way much respect, you do good work man. Beautiful build. 👍
