He just hated having the same job for more than 5 or 6 years, and he loved Florida. Jerry Jones played offensive tackle on a national championship Arkansas Razorback football team. Jerry Jones made the Hershel Walker trade happen. Jerry and Jimmy were both equally responsible for the rise of the Cowboys, and they both were responsible for the team not being able to maintain that success... but Jimmy Jonson walked himself out the door. Jerry probably would have sucked it up and kept him aboard, but Jimmy just wanted a new job in Florida.

The cap began the trend of raiding the top teams talent taking that team's edge. He should have fought against it until he could see the end of their run and rebuilding the roster was needed. He was so football ignorant that he underpaid his assistants, overworked his head coach, the best of his generation, into burnout and frustration. If Patriots play the same Giants 2 out of 3, my money is on Patriots. Of course, football does not work this way. You only get 1 chance.

Jerry wanted to take that team away from Jimmy because he thought the team would be dominant for many years. But he sabotaged his own situation with his pushing for the salary cap. The cap began the trend of raiding the top teams talent taking that team's edge. He should have fought against it until he could see the end of their run and rebuilding the roster was needed. He was so football ignorant that he underpaid his assistants, overworked his head coach, the best of his generation, into burnout and frustration. He also did not sit down with Jimmy and get a routine of daily and after game protocols that started their rift.

What? Landry's teams still hold an NFL record of TWENTY straight winning seasons from 1966-1985. They went to 5 Super Bowls in the 70s. Won two and lost the other three by a combined 11 points. How could you even say that unless you're absolutely clueless.

Somewhat true and false on what Jimmy says "when you win a championship, it says you are the best". This is not always true. If you look at the phenomenon season Patriots had with Moss, Welker, Brady and record breaking stats, they were the best team in NFL, yet they lost to Giants in the superbowl. Does this mean Giants were the best?? Yes, there were the best team for that day, but they were not the best team in NFL for that season. If Patriots play the same Giants 2 out of 3, my money is on Patriots. Of course, football does not work this way. You only get 1 chance.

And your response is misleading. I specifically said on the year where Patriots had undefeated season, if they were to play Giants again the next Sunday after the Super Bowl and the following Sunday, my money is on Patriots. I never said anything about 2nd Superbowl 4 years later where Giants won over Patriots. The 2nd time Giants won the SB over Partiots, I don't remember how good the Patriots was, but for 2007 season, they were the best team who did not win the SB.
