He looks a lot like a water tiger, they are really fast, I have two a Brazilian and an American, they are similar, very fast and run away very easily, mine are loose around the house and have their favorite places to hide and the water space to enter when they feel like it. They hate the aquarium so I don't do that with them, they stay in the water in a small but open space and they like warm water, I do everything they like, I love it so much 😍
Bathroom floors are usually cold, maybe it likes the temperature in there better

Esas son tortugas de agua, por eso va al baño, por la humedad. Ademas, las tortugas, sean de agua o tierra NO son mascotas domesticas, se puede dañar el caparazon por tantas caidas de lugares altos. Lo mejor seria dejarlas libres cerca de un rio o arroyo, preguntale al veterinario especialista en animales exoticos.😐🇦🇷
