Playing the Switch version, where the loading screens lag so much, the spins are just sad to look at instead of fun. At least the loading screens are the only part of the game with lag like that.
I just noticed that the animation for “You’re toast Gnorc!” Is the same animation and lip sync to a dragon he rescued. He didn’t believe that Spyro would be the one to same him, and then Spyro said “You gotta believe! Hahaha”
To be fair, there are a lot more moving parts to a game these days than back then. Games are expected to have all the bells and whistles current Gen can offer and that’s hard to keep as robust

Have things to criticise and it's 100% fine if I want to, you can like what you like but there's no point ignoring any faults in the game and disregarding anyone who prefers the originals. I won't go in to all of the countless reasons why, but for example have you never noticed how almost all of the enemies in Spyro 3 share the exact same sound effects? While the originals had unique, lovable and memorable sound effects for every single character. You cannot deny that's a sign of being rushed, unfinished and unorganised There truly are so many more things I can bring up but I get the feeling that no matter what I say you won't listen and continue to ignore any imperfections with the remakes simply because you don't care and all you want is modern graphics. And even those modern graphics are rushed, unfinished and unorganised, recycling many assets instead of making them unique like the originals, having a very very mixed up art style because of multiple art directors, so you have levels where the textures look really cartoony and like play dough, then levels where textures are much more detailed, and then levels that have a weird mix of play dough textures and realistic textures. Again, you can like what you want and I can like what I want, But I can and will criticise the remakes for their very obvious flaws that everyone ignores because all they care about is graphics. I don't want to argue with anyone, I'm so sick of it, but fuck it is annoying when people blatantly ignore any points anyone who is a bigger fan of original games brings up just because they don't praise the remakes like they're God's gift. But thankfully the game can be modded on PC which makes me enjoy it a hell of a lot more, but that's just me. You guy's just enjoy what you want and I'll enjoy what I want. Seems to attempt to load the level at the last possible moment, and when already loading the other level the game may have not enough room to load in more (ie dragon heads) since it pre loaded the previous level.
Thankfully modern programming languages can have exceptions to errors and won't completely crash the game but instead continue with what was asked in terms of what to load and where to load the player

I played these games all the time when they came out when I was a kid and still the only reason I didn’t have to look up any of the levels online to get 100% (especially Treetops, fuck that level) is because I still have the old walkthrough booklet from the original lol, don’t feel bad about having to look it up
Nice speed run. This player definitely could’ve saved some seconds here and there like in Stone Hill and Gnastu Gnorc, but a great run. Always wanted to try any% run myself, but can’t imagine how much practice it takes to hit these glitches.

Oh I think I get it A BIT. Going back to Canyon Speedway after it was stored, it was just empty with none of those objects loaded (at least within the map). So, I assume if you go back to a stored level, objects load in a different position/not at all? ... no idea for some of the other steps around this run, but eh XD

You can skip learning how to swim in spyro 2, you can't skip his entrance on second world, but idk it's working on this version, on older versions worked perfectly
