Regarding K-Edge...yes, to handle the 1030's size you need the XL version of the combo mount. Been running K-Edge Combo regular size for over 26,000 road kms...rock solid!

I haven't found a way to contact you besides here. I'm looking at a new UP, (can pick between small and medium, as I'm 173cm, (12cm inseam), which comes from factory, (local dealer) w Camy Ekar group-set, (38t, 9x42), a cockpit similar to your UP, and HED Emporia GA Pro 700c wheels. The other is 2-3? yrs old, it's a U.P. Limited Edition Omata 16/20, (the interesting white w letters and symbols), w Sram XX1 Eagle AXS derailleur, 42t 10x52, 12spd, similar cockpit, (Easton / FSA), Sram Force shifter and disk brakes, Roto alloy crank, and Roval Terra CLX Disc Carbon Tubeless 700c. Bikes in very good condition, just don't know the history. I'm a recreational rider, 80% pavement, 20% fire roads, who likes to push the pace and enjoy a good riding / handling bike. Any help is much appreciated, (can send you links to bikes, if you have time), thxs

Hey. Thanks for watching. I can’t tell you if or how the up could be a better bike in terms of ride feel and quality as I have only seen one On One in my life. I can tell you this: if you are looking for a very versatile bike, that can do road and gravel, the up is the best bike to do that. If I compare it to all the bikes I have owned and tested in my life, I have to say it’s in the top 3. (My top one beeing my old Felt TK1 ) If you habe any other question feel free to ask. Cheers
Since you’ve owned the wi.de and the U.P. Can you make a comparison. Is the ride feeling on the up really that more sportive ? Or what is the main difference in the ride feeling
The ride feeling is the same in comfort, performance and awesomeness. The main difference is geometry, the wide has a lower bb, higher head tube and some other small differences. For me, having pedal strokes in cyclocross races and not having a chain catcher was what made me change the frame. Both are good and if I was super rich I’d have one of each.

@@cmitcham01 Hi, I don’t think 650b or 700 makes a difference in how stable it feels. The geometry does all the trick. I also think which tires you choose and what pressure you ride them at will have a great influence on how stable the bike feels. If you don’t mind the lower bb and the 1x specific frame then the wide is for you. I do wish I had both sometimes 😋
I went di2 to be able to use a xt derailleur with a 11-46 cassette which is not possible with a mechanical groupset. For now I don’t plan changing anything. Thanks for watching :)
Hey Leon! I like the combination of Continental Terra Trail in front and Terra Speed in back. It is very fast and offers loads of grip while cornering. Next set will be from Pirelli. I really like the René Herse Hurricane Ridge in extralight casing. Great tire. ✌🏻
It depends on your body proportion… It would be too small for me. I’d have to run a 130mm stem and my saddle to handlebar drop would be way to aggressive for my lower back. My fit : 74.5 saddle height from bb center. 110mm stem with 80mm habdlebar reach Saddle to hb drop is 7cm It gives me superb control and stability in rough descents, trails and great comfort over long distances.
@@andarenbici everything near Vermont, in the eastern townships, is great for Gravel. So many roads and trails to discover. It would be very similar to vermont but a bit less hilly.
I would recommend the Lac Megantic area which is close to the Eastern townships Or The Saint-Donat and Parc du Mont-Tremblant area. Especially the acces road from Lac Monroe to Labelle. Enjoy ;)
