So divinely beautiful! The accuracy and precision of the corps de ballet members amazes me! Zakarova has the perfect, long, willowly body for ballet! I can tell who she is from a distance by her body build and very long waistline, and how she uses her limbs. 54:27 In the assisted grand jetes and angel lifts she does indeed look ethereal! Her partner is excellent in his leaps and turns and makes the lifts look so effortless! When Giselle appears and disappears through the trap door, it gives me chills. When her love gently rocks her just before she leaves, it brings tears. Bravo!

I agree. I understand it is the way Russian audiences show their appreciation, but the applause is so intrusive, especially considering the drama, despair and emotion that the dancers are trying to convey on stage. A beautiful ballet performance that should be afforded the courtesy of dignified appreciation (and at times that just means being silent), not treated as an opportunity by some in the audience to see who can yell and scream the loudest. Are the noisy audience members understanding and appreciating what they are seeing on stage or just waiting for any opportunity to show off how loud they can yell and scream?
Странное впечатление после просмотра. Мирта какая-то еще сырая. Как будто не хватило времени отточить движения. Кордебалет линию то держит, то не держит. Костюмеры вообще не видели кордебалет на генеральной репетиции. Юбки разной длины, это портит линию. Ужасно. К солистам, естественно, претензий нет. Хороши. Но ведь это спектакль. Всё должно быть безупречно. Дьявол кроется в деталях.
