Hi! I’m the flutist Seon Miri Seo who did the piccolo solo in this video. I’ll give answers to two mostly asked question. The score used in this recital is originally ‘Baby Elephant Walk’. Kim Ae-Ra and previous Rinnai Orchestra conductor Choi Sun-Yong have reworked the original score for this recital. All contents copyright for the score is reserved and belongs to Rinnai Orchestra. The instrument used in the video is Burkart Resona Model.
You - people with no sense of swing and groove whatsovever - are so annoying. Seriously. Unfortunately you're the overwhelming majority (at least among the white people). People like you only perceive the tiny part of music world, all you hear is pure melody. You hear no fking difference if somebody's playing with many different shades of sound, if he swings, if he's really musical, and you even have NO CLUE that you don't hear that. You just cheer another robotical orchestra, another robotical piccolo lady who just practiced a lot to play her lines - so many half musical people could do that, all you need is to practice. Absolutely nothing PHENOMENAL in this robotical play, there's no nuances hidden there at all. There's a jazz bands in youtube that does the theme so much more interesting.
@@edddo4314 I grew up listening to Swing probably long before you were born or maybe before you were ever thought of. What makes you think that I don't have no sense of swing or groove?
@@angelaallen2446 I think I already explained in my previous comment what makes me think that. Just another robotical orchestra, they don't even try to add some shade of sound, not even a little bit. And you call it best you've heard. Because you don't need those shades, you don't need those details and nuances, you hear no difference.

I remember this song from the movie Hatari in the 60's. This is one of the best arrangements of the Baby Elephant Walk I have ever heard. Excellent piccolo playing. Bravo Seo Seon Miri!
I keep coming back to You Tube to listen to this arrangement of the Elephant walk. The flautist , Set Soon Miri is amazing! Makes me with I had continued playing flute and piccolo after high school. Very inspirational!
So much FUN!!! This makes me want to purchase a piccolo and learn it Hatari is such a wonderful movie and the incomparable Henri Mancini's arrangements are magical, imaginative and leave lasting imprints on the soul.

리코드 왕벌의 비행연주때 음높이하고 비슷한거 같은데 리코드 높은음보다 놉나요
와 피콜로 정말 잘부셔요🎉저도 피콜로학교에서 부는데 제가 부는거랑 차이가 ㄷㄷ(엄청 나요
피콜로는 음역이 높다못해 살짝어긋나도 티가 확난다고 들었습니다. 플루트랑 앰부셔가 비슷해도 더 정교하면서도 타이트하고 게다가 부담감이 심한 악기라 플루트연주자분들도 용기가필요한 악기라생각하는데 솔리스트로 연주하시다니ㄷㄷㄷ
또 연주하시는 모습보면서 어쩜 미소와 예쁜표정 그리고 여유롭게 하시는지...
놀랍습니다. 피콜리스트의 매력을 찐으로 느끼고갑니다. 그리고 악기끼리 주고받는부분 참 좋습니다!!!

Next to Henry Mancini’s version this is the best I’ve heard. The young lady on the piccolo is phenomenal.
