It's always so amazing when I hear someone play a piccolo and it has a warm and round sound instead of piercing and cold. Such a hard instrument to make sound good.
As a percussionist, I must arrive at rehearsals and concerts before everyone to set up and always last to exit. I envy strings, woodwinds and brass. One smallish case in one hand and music sheet folder in the other, so easy and simple. No need for a minivan either.

L'interprétation antérieure que j'aime beaucoup aussi est celle de Wolfgang Hofmann dirigeant l'orchestre de chambre Emil Seiler avec le flutiste Hans-Martin Linde (1962).
Ausgezeichnet. Vivaldi ist unbeschreiblich. Der Pfeiffer und seine Kollegen bringen Ihn phantastisch rüber. Müßt Ihr so grau sein ? Diese Musik ist Leben also Klassik Musiker zeigt Farbe. Hört auf mit diesen konservativen Frstzen und zeigt Farbe, gebt Stoff.

Yours stands out of all the rest and is truly a reference for the whole piccolo community and beyond. Also the musicians surrounding you are amazing. So much colour and dynamics. OK, I can think of pieces with this pace and agility for violin (Bach Partita 3/Cantata 29) or piano (Beethoven), but for a *flute*? Wow, such a wonderful expression of Vivaldi's genius and lyrical powers.

that's really cultural appropriation , it should be played on a sopranino recorder and the tempo should be much slower. like this it loses its charm ..too mechanical , for me it's a big NO

I have played this. Slower. Because it is so difficult. He makes it seem effortless and his double tonguing is so fluid. And the intonation is so on.
Im in awe of this magnificent performance. Technique and incredible warm tone. He is a master. It was a pleasure to hear this music.

Vivaldiの傑作のひとつですね。 20代、日本でバロックブームが起こった197０年代頃から宗教曲、バロックのCDが盛んに世に出てきて夢中で集めたことを思い出します。
最近はこういう曲があまり演奏されないのが寂しい。

This is not the original version. The original is for *Sopranino Recorder in F* The Piccolo did not exist in Vivaldi's time.
