Nice to see the Habs finally hit their stride a bit as a team. Carrier looked remarkably solid for his first game, and then there’s Laine who can win games for you.
Carrier had a solid match and Good for Hutson, after turning over the puck twice that turned into Wings goals, he sets up the winning goal and redeems himself. Laine keeps on rolling for the club, 7 Goals, 7 PPG, and 7 from the dot, the 4th Line have been responsible for all 3 of the goals tonight. They kept the momentum, well done.

Good win for the Canadiens last night! Glad to see Xhekaj get his first goal! He has been playing very well of late and deserved the goal! What can you say about Laine .... the guy is a scoring machine! 👍👍 Montembeault has got to stop going down on one knee when an opposing player has the puck in the corner! Turns into a 5-3 essentially.
I know the Habs won but... There's something that bothers me... Why every time a former Habs player plays against them (in this case, Petry), he scores a goal? I notice it every time. Every damn time without exception. On the other hand, when a Habs player plays against his former team, nope. The same is not necessarily true. Another thing that Mtl does exceptional.
