The Japanese Buddhist Temple at Darjeeling is in traditional Japanese style built in 1972. It is also known as Nipponzan Myohoji Buddhist Temple. This white two storied building located in a very peaceful, serene atmosphere with tall pine trees at the backdrop.
Temple is located 10 minutes away from the Darjeeling town centre, on the hill of Jalapahar. When jn Darjeeling, one must visit this place to have some calm and peaceful time.
The Peace pagoda is just a 100 mtrs away. Must plan time to walk around Peace Pagoda as well.
