I remember when I saw a picture of a Telecaster in the exact same colors (including pickguard), I thought it was the ugliest thing ever. Now many years later this combination of colors is exactly what I would want to see on any Fender model guitar and specifically on a Jaguar, because of all the chrome. I’m jealous. Really, if I had the money I would call you guys up and have you shipping it to me overseas asap! ❤
It was introduced in 1962 not 1960 , I don’t know who would say 1960? Yes maybe conceptually fender was thinking about the jag but the launch year was 62. Great video guys keep up the good work!
love how you pronounce ssseidgeisd...😇😅 greetings from germany... ps. as a devoted long time subscriber to your channel and proud owner of a 2019 martin d28, i was wondering if you guys could make a video about taking care of the nitro finish of the martins, as great as the guitars are, the nitro is a pain in the b..t to clean, not possible, at least for me...there is always a smeary remaining, muddy crap on the surface... 👋🏼😎
Lovely guitar and terrific demo - thanks for that! I would love one of these (been a Strat player for decades) but just maybe the Johnny Marr version would suit me more - the mods he made and that Fender took onboard might give that one the edge . . .
12:31 Der Grüne Heinrich Green Henry is a partially autobiographical novel by the Swiss author Gottfried Keller, first published in 1855, and extensively revised in 1879.
Nice sounding guitar, I was in San Antonio last week but friend and family kept me goal to visit one of your stores. I was in SW area staying,my nephew and his wife have shopped at one of your stores in the past and bought Taylor’s 5:49
Great tones! At 13:04 when Cooper’s run started, a vision of Sean Connery driving his Aston Martin to some rendezvous with one of his Bond Babes popped into my mind. I love those tones.
Love Jaguars, but personally think the notion of relic'ing is just silly and the custom guitars overpriced. Then tried out a custom shop surf green Jaguar similar to this one and ended up taking it home. Mine is also a "closet classic" so the checking isn't too obnoxious, with 9.5" radius but with medium jumbo frets. Think I'd prefer the narrow tall on yours... Great demo, thanks!
Beautiful Jag If I had the 💵 I'll get the 62 Olympic white (match head) like Carl Wilson's 😎🎸👍 thank goodness Squire made affordable one 😊definitely getting it soon from Sweetwater nice video keep rocking guys😎🎸👍
When I get a guitar delivered, I give it hours before I take it out of the box, just to protect against the possibility of checking. Of course, here we have the intentional opposite. Never the twain shall meet... Don't really get Jaguars, beyond the short scale length. The mute has never seemed much more than a gimmick, the rhythm/lead circuit feels to me like a case of over-engineering, and when it comes to offset Fenders, I prefer the Jazzmaster pickups. I do like the Sherwood green on this one though.
You can buy liquid nitrogen, I used to work in a shop with it…. I’d siphon some off into a thermos and then pour the liquid nitrogen on a guitar finish… flash checks the finish because it’s so cold.
Jaguars are indeed underrepresented, but that just makes them all the more badass;) I proudly own the American Professional Jag from 2017 in olive green and I wouldn't sell it for 100k, no joke. Great demo by the way, I enjoy watching you guys:)

Mute is really cool.
You guys keep calling it a "Jagwire"

The Checking is also done with a stone, that is How many Boutique guitar makers do it. at $6k it is Clearly over priced...
Just to mention the elephant in the room Greenberg's green hat matches the Sherwood Green of the Jag. Neat guitar.....Just saying.....good demo!
Hhaha he does that sometimes!

Jag came out in '62 not '60

Love the guitar color AND Cooper's hat. I need one of those hats. Nice sound, but not what I play. Nice finish. Thanks, Chris and Cooper
Looks great. Probably WAY out of my budget.
Jangly. Surfy. But he mistakenly says Surf comes later, when I guess he means revival since Surf was already going on in '62?
I guess Closet and Custom means they took an ACTUAL old one and messed up the paint?
I still gotta figure out how to mute Squier?
So, the OPPOSITE, actually???
Would love to find a Closet Classic early 60's Stratocaster.
nice shirt Chris...Copper matches the Guitar!.. hat shirt!!

Thanks For Sharing 🎸🎶 Texas 🌟💪
You're welcome!
WOW!
Not a fan of that pickguard with that color, but the color itself is pretty awesome.
love the color. Hope to see it in-person next month🤙
Sounds like Mike Enzinger of Incubus
