Feed them blood meal and water well. They might be planted a bit deep, remove a bit of soil from around the stem and leave a little covering the area where the bulb should be. You still have time, the bulbs form when the day/night changes in June so yes, push them hard into growth as the bigger and stronger the plant is the bigger the bulb will be as it stores the excess carbohydrates. Thank you. I actually harvested them already 2 days ago, I made this video early last week but never uploaded. I did get fairly large bulbs from them though. The bottom leaves had fully died away all the way up to the first 4 sets so I just pulled them because I thought they were diseased. I did get a good amount of bulbs though, and decent size. Do you know what that mold type stuff is though? Should I worry about that with eating them?
