You’re amassing quite the collection of attachments for the mini. This may very well become an addiction, kind of like legos for an adult, you just keep adding pieces.
yeah kubotas has the tilt kits from a k008-3 and up to the big kx090-4 wich kubota is the only brand that has them
It is very easy to see that the perfectionist in you is shining through. You learn well grasshopper. Slow and steady always wins the race.
This is all we use here in NZ🇳🇿 every digger has one unless your in a rock quarry. Tim al I can suggest is keeping your bucket flatter to the ground it holds grade better then riding on the cutting edge of the bucket, all and all good job Sir
I like the 45 degree angle. looks like you could use that point while at a 45 to run shallow ditch like for burying electric line and such. It is awesome having good tools. don't know how many times I finally bought myself something then wonder...why in the heck didn't I do this years earlier. especially love your grapple. oh to have something like that on our farm over the years. It was a bit overrun when we bought it with crab apple trees that have thorns. we cut them and burnt them but can't tell you how many plugs I put in the front tires of the tractor from the thorns an dragging limbs and trees with the tractor.
I am impressed by how well you care for and use your equipment. AMI should have you on commission for all the sales you must bring them!
Ran a tilt bucket for many years on a volvo ew170. You will love it
Good Morning to you Tim, in my work over the years I have hired diggers etc, what I have found if I was doing a swale I would put the digging bucket on and cut to line and level then do the swale with the angle bucket which helped me get my line . You are doing well seat time will have you show Chris up lol
Great video Tim 👍👍👍. I think you done a fine job on that swale. You was already getting faster by the time you were done.
That attachment will do a great job doing swells and spreading crushed stone. I will have the control of operating it mastered in a few hours of working with it. Stay safe and a Blessed day.
great video Tim , that bucket is going to come in handy be safe and have a blessed day !
You make all the hookup look easy, thank you enjoyed that!!!!
Don't sweat worrying about losing stuff, I lost my hat searched for 10 minutes figured out it was on my head!!!!! That was a long week
Never stop learning new tricks on equipment. I learn new stuff every on every job.
Been waiting on this video. That bucket is awesome.
Oh and I had an idea.
Put some short cutting-edge up the side so you could cut V- ditches.
Let’s dig 18 should have flown down and helped you out..you went up and helped him with his excavator...lol..love watching you and Chris 👍🇺🇸
That dig is going to hunt right there.
Looks like a nice clean fit. I like my hoses to close to the boom also. Good luck with it 👍🏻
Water doesn't discriminate it just flows
At takes time to be perfect you will get there Tim good from this angle Keep up the good videos I really enjoy and thank you very much for what you do
I had those same fitting on my air hoses. If you pull that quick connect outer ring back it makes it easier to connect.
You can pull the ring back all you want, if there's pressure on either side of the quick connect, you're NOT going to push it on without relieving the pressure first!
I have one of these hydraulic cylinder-type tilt clean-up buckets (not AMI) and I HATE IT! Flops around during cycle, does NOT move in small increments on the move while grading. Do yourself a favor and spend the extra money on an actuator type. Just bought one from AMI and can't wait for it to get here!!! Also, the actuator type goes about 180 degrees instead if 90 degrees like this one.
I see you are using the new bucket Tim. I in joy your video and God Bless you and your family
In spots where you can’t spill dirt when digging drains try throwing the dirt behind you keeps the machine level and allows you to reshape the drain
You did a great job. Looks good. Hope you and your family have a blessed day. GOD bless you all
I’m going to drink lemonade and watch you from the comfort of my home
That will make life easier nice job. Stay safe
Hello Tim that's what I did with my pulp loader, I cut the pressure way back, because I don't like the banking around. Have a good evening
Just ordered a tilt bucket for my 35G through my j Deere dealer and having them install a diverter valve hook up for the thumb also, can’t wait to get my machine back I enjoy your videos.
Looks good. Great video
Great video Tim I have not seen one of them until I seen Chris’s at letsdig petty cool . Thank you very much for sharing
Sick bucket!
Very cool.
u want to angle your bucket in a shear position not a scraping. it will make for a much cleaner, accurate, and productive cut. That said your doing well for no formal training. I was born in the woodpile too. lol
Swale looks good from here nice bucket I think lets dig needs a cutting edge on his hahaha see ya Napa mike
That bucket is going to make you lots of 💰 and can't wait to see more videos with you using it .
What? No comment yet from people saying you need a Lock and Lube end for your grease gun??? LOL! Nice attachment.
Good job. One small recommendation, don’t use brake cleaner on rubber even if you use air to blow it out, still leaves a residue. I don’t know where you got the idea for that one but it’s not a good idea.
I ordered a 42 inch tilt from ami today..I mentioned your video, I dont know if that helps you but it cant hurt.
Thank you. It lets them know that you did your research through UA-cam videos.
@@cotontop3 By the way are you still liking the tilt bucket?
james rogers yes it’s a good bucket.
Nice job!! I’m jealous
Great video always enjoy watching your video have a great day stay safe
Cotton top got a new toy !
Looks good Tim 👍👍
Wow
Good morning Tim. Just takes time to get the hang of it. Actually you're doing pretty good already.
More importantly.... does Chris from Letsdig18 approve?
Good morning Tim
Morning Mr. Tim . Have you ever watch Hedblom UA-cam channel. He uses a Kubota excavator like your and he is very good with it. Your videos are great Thanks stay safe
my new generator im planing getting is a kubota too the big 16.8hp GL11000 wich wasnt to bad price for $8,000 wich the caterpillar wanted $36,000 for there 10,000watts wich was rediculas for a generator
i asked the question to early in the video.i got the answer thanks
I like that grading bucket your other unit must be a grapple bucket?
Wets ok..long as it’s not soup...your good...haha
Why not make it a 360 bucket as well !! Like Doosan equipment????????
Good vid. But for a new bucket sure does have some slop in it.
Hi Tim, I know I am a little late to the party for this video but I was wondering if you would mind sharing with me what length hoses you used here? I have a KX57 and just ordered a 42” AMI tilt bucket and your hoses fit perfectly. I am also not sure if that measurement would or would not include the fittings? You sir have a great channel, thank you.
I’ll get you the cut length of the hose when I get home today.
Cut the hoses 33” long and when u put the fittings on them, they’ll be just right
Thank you Tim I appreciate it.
NICE
First time I've ever heard to clean out a new line. 10 tractors and other various pieces of equipment and never had a problem, you used brake cleaner or something?
Nice unit, what model excavator is this on?
Kubota kx 057-4
How much is a bucket like that? It would be handy.
This bucket is around $5k
what did you use to clean out your hose
Tim Did you price out the helical actuator one Ami offers ? If so what was price difference? I have been thinking about buying one.
Just ordered one, was about $7,500, but WELL WORTH the price difference, these hydraulic cylinder type tilts are junk!
@@mattywho8485 I’m getting ready to buy one, I’ve not decided what brand yet. Why do you say the ones with the cylinder or junk? I’ve never run either one so I’m just asking!
Thanks
thats accully not a bad price $5,000 for the tilt bucket
Is that a 42” bucket ?
It’s a 48”.
@@cotontop3 Thanks Tim, be safe out there !!
You don't happen to live in the south do you ?.
He’s going to get a grab
