    Just found your channel and I’m obsessed with it. I don’t do real estate but I work in sales and it’s nice to see someone talk about what this career path is really like. Especially cos you’re so young, I just turned 27 so well done on what you’ve done so far🫡

    This was a great video and was very extensive and detailed. Just one question, did you get your current job without any experience of working or was it your first-ever job ?

    I think you mentioned that the commission in the UK is quite less than in America, but in America, they don't get the salary as well (I believe). Would you rather have a bigger commission or lower commission and salary?

    • @BartChmielecki
      @BartChmielecki  2 роки тому +8

      I think now that I’ve got a bit of experience I’d probably forgo a salary for more commission

    The easiest fix for the irregular pay issue you described is to just live within your means. Don't let your fixed expenses go above your base salary and just put your commission earnings into saving, investment, or emergency fund.

    Bart I heard stories where estate agents have their potential clients stolen or “poached” by their own colleagues? Later the estate agent transferred to a new office where they didn’t allow stealing sales but did you encounter this?
    BTW we need an updated video 👌

    So in your first 5 months did you not earn a penny in commission? If so, was your basic salary enough to cover your basic necessities i.e rent, food, car etc

    • @BartChmielecki
      @BartChmielecki  2 роки тому +4

      It was just about enough! But yes to start off with it was tough

    Hi Bart,
    I really enjoy your videos! I have entered the industry almost identical time as you did and work in almost the same area as you do (Kingston based). I am a bit unsure about how I feel about a few things and would love to grab a pint with you one day after work to get a second opinion?

    Hey
    What do you mean by pipeline? A clients network? How do you build this up when you know no body in the area?
    Are you paid a general annual wage?
    Thnaks!

    • @BartChmielecki
      @BartChmielecki  2 роки тому +2

      The pipeline is the deals that are agreed and going through conveyancing. Building a network happens over time. And yes, there is a basic salary. Thanks for watching!

      Hi,
      I'm a sales negotiator just outside of London, and I completely disagree with the racism comment above. I'm a muslim from a Middle Eastern country and I can guarantee you that racism/discrimination doesn't happen, what matters is your ability to be able to talk and build relationships with people! The industry, in my opinion, is far from being discriminatory..

    Buying a stock is easy, but buying the right stock without a time-tested strategy is incredibly hard. Hence what are the best stocks to buy now or put on a watchlist? I’ve been trying to grow my portfolio of $260K for sometime now, my major challenge is not knowing the best entry and exit strategies... I would greatly appreciate any suggestions.
