My wife and I just got back from our second trip there. Great review. Two things I'd add for anyone who sees this, when you book, select the "transport" option if flying. It's like $40 round trip. Secondly, bc you had little kids you didn't spend tons of time in the water: there are several large coral reefs (biggest is probably 15ft across) within a buoyed area to snorkel in. We spent several hours every day just snorkeling there.
Yes, I was surprised he didn't mention the fantastic snorkeling but I guess traveling with little ones is a bit different than when you are a family of divers/snorkelers! Those reefs are my favorite thing about Viva Wyndham Fortuna Beach. We went for about ten straight years (til Delta stopped flying there). My son always took his dive classes there and went from Bubbles up to Master Diver over the years. Viva Wyndham holds some great memories for us. We may try doing the cruise ship trip like the vlogger did and doing a land stay sometime soon.
Hi! I'm thinking about going there next february, the one thing is blocking me is reviews, there are dozens of bad reviews, expecially related to bad cleaning and staff being rude, but the photos are very cool. I know you had a great time, why do you think yhere are some many 3/5 or lower reviews? Also, is wifi good there? I'll have to work remotely a few hours! Thanks!
The WiFi is alright. I can’t speak as to the negative reviews, but we stayed there “for free,” except we paid taxes, etc. I’ve found in life that it’s often the people on the free seats that boo the loudest, so that might be a factor. There are other far superior all-inclusive resorts, but I’m sure they come with a price tags which reflects their quality. We didn’t have a problem with the room’s cleanliness, but we did suspect that the facilities weren’t exactly new.
Me and my wife will be taking our first international vacation here for our honeymoon July 21st, any tips? We were wondering if taking cash would be necessary.
Congratulations on your wedding! Cash is very helpful for international travel. We were able to use our debit and credit cards at various places on the island, but the taxi, for example preferred cash. Which port are you sailing to? I’m guessing Freeport. If so, we have other videos about our experience on the island.
@@AikenAdventures Yeah, we're flying to freeport from Miami. Me and her just did not know if they'd allow us to use debit cards. I'll make sure we bring some cash :) thanks for the response! We have 5 days at viva fortuna all inclusive. Hopefully the foods better for me than it was for you haha
@@dakotawinchester We already came and went my friend, it wasn't the worst thing in the world; but it was most certainly budget. Ate like 100 sausage links over the course of 7 days though i tell ya, and drank enough alcohol they cut me off 2 of the nights hahahaha. I did go swim with the pigs, and check out their fancy feed the sharks restaurant. Wife hated how humid it was, but i really liked the weather.
@@Stips93 The rooms weren't clean when we stayed there. The food is not as good as most of the other resorts in the Bahamas. We even had to eat at the restaurant nearby because some of my family members didn't like the food. But it's good to hear that you guys had great time there because we hated that place.
Me and my family stayed in that resort when we're in the Bahamas and it was really bad. The service was terrible. The rooms are kinda small and the bathrooms were dirty.
@@AikenAdventures Yeah, it's just the bathrooms that weren't clean. The other parts of the room weren't dirty. But definitely not a 5-star experience. It's barely a 3-star resort. The food wasn't great either. We even had to go to a restaurant near the resort because some of my family members didn't like the food there. It was also understaffed when we're there. We will never stay there again. But I'm glad to hear that you guys had better experience than us there. Btw I found your video when I was searching the name for bad reviews. Already liked and subscribed! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I don’t know that he regularly does tours. We happen to share a number of mutual friends, but they would certainly welcome you at Tabernacle for their worship services.

Good points. We did see people snorkeling that far out and they brought back lots of interesting shells.

Were thinking of staying here. Seeing a lot of mixed reviews about the rooms 😞 did you encounter any bugs? 😬
We did not encounter any bugs.
Oh, it was terrible. The bathrooms were dirty. Yes, there were a few bugs but there're just a lot of bugs in the Bahamas in general.

My advice is "Don't". 😂
That show seems pretty awesome
It was pretty good. The performers were pretty talented.

@@Stips93 Always bring cash if you're gonna travel outside the State. And find a better resort because this one sucks.

Always entertaining! (Plaster falling off the walls.)😂 The water was beautiful.
It really is a beautiful location! The room and buildings left a little something to be desired.

I would LOVE to meet Pastor Woodside for a tour ! How do I get his information ?!

Looks like a dump. Thanks for posting.
Glad we could help you with making the decision which is best for you and your family!
